This morning I woke up, and it seemed like almost every single episode we’ve done was taken off anirena. I contacted Power2All about the situation and asked him what the heck was going on. He checked the logs, and as it turned out, it was Jaka’s fault. Jaka created the anirena account, so he has had root access to all of our torrents. And yesterday, I’m assuming because he was angry about us releasing the tosho flood, he decided it would be a good idea to delete every single torrent that we had ever submitted to anirena.

Since each episode takes at least 6 hours of work, that means that Jaka deleted off 29*6, AKA, 174 hours of work that our staff has painstakingly taken over the past 2 months. All of this is probably for a 20 second “LOL”.
So, right now, here’s what’s happening. First, I am looking for the episodes listed above. If you have them, or know a place where I can direct download them, please direct me to it. We will probably try to get the DDL page up as soon as possible so as to make this again.
Second, we’re going to have to consider switching trackers. I like anirena for their reliability of the tracker staying up, and because they seem to have the most up to date tracker, and because they also have group capabilities. However, this hole is the system and their inability to restore torrents has caused some issues for me, so we are looking at other options.

Small problem with this, Chihiro and Animetake have a bit of a problem with one another if I remember. Also Animetake upload other peoples subbing work to megaupload… which gives the person who uploaded it (if on a premium account) $0.002 for each person who downloads it. Is it just me or could they be making money off other peoples work? maybe Megauploads’ terms and conditions stops them making money… idk.

I’d like to thank Jaka and whoever thought this was funny. As a big fan of both Shikirei and Chihiro subs, I now have to wait on the release for them to fix this shit you have made.
I’m not mad at you, Chihiro, I know, I understand and I bet I couldn’t translate if my life depended on it if these POS did that to me and after that, come and comment like I was the worst in the world.

I didn’t want to comment, cause flame wars suck. But I just can’t believe no one mentioned this yet. And it’s something I am fully in support of. That’s thinking before you act. So Chihiro uploads 34 torrents in a row, and someone gets pissy. He thinks, “I’ll show them! I’ll just delete all their torrent’s off the tracker! heheheheheehehehehhehehehe.” Fine, what’s done is done. But just what do you think is going to happen now? Chihiro is most likely going to move to a new tracker. Which means they are going to have to make new torrents. I fully and whole heartedly support the idea that Chihiro should truly spam all the torrent sites with individual torrents for every release they have done so far. You thought 34 was bad? Wait till it’s over 200. Really piss the crybaby’s off. But in all seriousness, why does anyone get angry over this?
Hmm, I think Chihiro posted this announcement for us to help them by providing the links that they need so that everything will be back to normal again, instead of posting your frustration to that dude who deleted the said works of Chihiro (it already happened, we can’t do anything to that and you’re not helping at all). And come to think of it… Why you people didn’t download the videos when they are still active in torrents?? O_o Is it your Internet Connection slow? (I think most of you have a high-speed connection so I guess downloading 6 anime titles wouldn’t slow you down to finish before the next week’s releases) or maybe you guys are too slow… that you’re not updated of the fresh release of Chihiro…

no need to moderate it, I’m sure that they’re getting a good laugh at koda and the other flamers. after all, chihiro provides pretty damn near the best subs for all the shows that they do in a fraction of the time that it takes the “quality” subbers to finish. fansubbers all do it for free, but people like koda shouldn’t think that it gives them some right to flame others. look at it like a points-based respect scale….fansubbing is +10, and flaming people for no reason is -15.

Just give me sekirei 8 T_T, i love chihiro for their speed, but lately there are many problems… like a travelling translator, ill translator etc 🙁 and now this :\ , but if like i’ve read Kristen takes fansubbing seriously, you should really backup your files or something…
