Watched the first 2 eps already. I don’t like yuri anime much, but this one isn’t that bad at all.
A few minor things that are a bit dumb?/stereotypical?/overused?/lame?, but for the most part it’s a good watch.

Well thanks for your efforts. A little okama shota action and lot of yuri makes for a fun ride. So far this season I’m really enjoying Kobato, Sasameke Koto and Seitokai no Ichizon.

From the first episode, I’d say it seemed okay. Not expecting anything too deep or original, but it definitely seems like it’ll be a fun watch.
I totally fucking loved Aoi Hana; my favourite show from last season. So I don’t think I’d really compare them. This show seems to have a bit of a different tone to it. Whereas Aoi Hana has more of an elegant, heart-felt quality to it, somewhat like MariMite; Sasameki feels more playful and fun. This is at least the impression that I got from it. Not stating any facts here. It’s only my personal opinion so take it or leave it.
Oh, also, good job on the release, guys. I didn’t notice any errors and the editing was really nice. Keep it up.

ITS A TRAP!
Animation-wise, the quality is beautiful. nice scenery shots, quick cameos of other significant characters, emotional scenes are wonderfully conveyed, though some of the motion is a bit meh. it’s like they worked real hard on the still and then realized they gotta animate it.
Voice-wise, the characters fit okay. only one i noticed was senpai’s seiyuu being the same as manaka takane in love plus. only one that irks me is akemiya because it’s way too feminine even for a crossdressing boy.
Compared to the manga, it feels a lot more serious. the somber orgel bgm, the illustrious nature shots, no silly bgm during jokes, it’s different. also, most of sumika’s monologues are now missing or they’re reinterpreted through other lines. it seemed weird for her to cry at the end because she’s supposed to explain her love is like a deserted flower, never to bloom. they kept the atogaki at the end, which is nice.
i’ll have to give a full judgement after the rest of the cast is introduced. it gets school rumble massive.
oh yea i love the OP. reminds me of an anri kumaki song.
