As a side note, I never noticed this before til last ep (though apparently it’s always been there): In the OP where the army of Popuras are goose-stepping, there is a sleepy eyed Popura in the middle row mid-way through it that acts differently than the others. Kawaii!! 😉

Im getting lots of issues with both this episode and 11 x.x
Subtitles goign away too quickly or the image “breaking” it shatters and I hav eno idea what the word is but it doesnt look good when it does that x.x
What’s different in the v2?
i noticed since eps 10, the subtitles do not show in my Media player
your patch fixed eps 10, can u also release patches for eps 11 and 12?

V2 has a problem i noticed. Taneshima yells “WEAK!” at 13:05, in V2 it got changed to “luke warm” i’m pretty sure it was correct before and is wrong now. As the reference would be between the strength of the tea’s taste and Inami’s determination.
is there any patch files for ep 12?
Why don’t you make the file size a little smaller-say 60 or 70 mb? Then the video would look better than it is now?

I was being sarcastic if ya’ll couldn’t tell. I like my fansubs much bigger size wise. Of course I know that the quality is dependent on the source material.

I was wondering though: Why is it “Popura” instead of “Poplar”? I get the whole ru = L thing when spoken, but she’s named after the Poplar tree, right?
zrdb, that’s because you are stupid. Why would you want bigger filesizes for no reason? Working is very compressible, it wouldn’t have noticably better quality just because it is encoded at unnecessarily high bitrate.

Where is 13 serie?
I’ve got a m2ts of this episode at 2.3 gigs and just for laughs and giggles I tried compressing it to 150 megs and 350 megs (nice round numbers) at 4.1 with 4 ref frames, cabac-guess what? The 350 meg file had better pq, etc.-all other things being equal-bigger is better.
For sd stuff, 350 megs would be more than overkill. I’m not a fan of bitrate-targeting encoding anyway, crf is the way to go. FYI chihiro is encoding with crf 17, which should be more than sufficient.
