We are never going to release Working 13 because you idiots can’t understand a simple request like, “Don’t ask about Working 13, especially in a post that’s about a completely different show such as Hayate no Gotoku.”
(For those of you who aren’t so keen on sarcasm, we are going to release Working, eventually. We just wish people would not be idiots. That’s all. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. We won’t drop a series unless we specifically say it’s dropped.)
Edit: To the suggestion to disable comments, it’s not a bad suggestion, but I’d hate to do that. It pisses me off when a place will ban something for everyone just because a few people act stupid, so I don’t want to do that and be a hypocrite.
P.S. K-On 13 is done, we’re just waiting for Kristen, who mysteriously disappeared, to return so she can release it. We don’t actually know when Working 13 will be done because the QCer seems to have also mysteriously disappeared.

Unfortunately, the truth is 95% of people are idiots, and the other 5% have to work at it to keep those people alive. Unfortunate but true fact of life.
Or you could disable comments if it’s pissing you off that much. Ignoring idiots until they go away doesn’t work on the internets but not giving them the chance to speak their “minds” would work. You’d still have IRC anyways, just a thought.
Like already mentioned, how about disabling comment function? There’s still IRC if one needs to say something too badly.

Problem is people expect things from fansubbers, they work for free so you shouldn’t expect any thing, except maybe a f**k you, it will get released when we want not when you want.

Personally, I’m just thankful ppl like yourselves do this kind of thing. If some stupid twat(s) gets under your skin and brings you all this much grief, kill the comments. Otherwise, you’re just making the trolls happy with “punishment” delays. I mean, if you think about it, it’s plenty easy for anyone to find Working 13 out there and then troll your comments for kicks to make fans miserable.

The important thing is that Chihiro is going to release all of our shows at one point or another. We just might have delays some weeks due to school or work or whatever. But we will release it unless we specifically say a series is dropped.

The entire concept of this type of message makes me sad. I usually try to ignore trolls and idiots (and I assume you do too), but when the problem becomes too annoying to ignore, it reminds me just how many ignorant, annoying people are on the internet. This kind of thing pisses me off almost as much as reading YouTube comments. Even out of the people commenting on this post, there have only been 2 people who actually used correct grammar and 10 people (almost half) who don’t have anything good to say but feel the need to comment anyway (not counting Tow3r twice).
Honestly, I wish people would realize that the internet is not just some place where you should act like you’re 5 years old.

To all idiots in this world, do not defile this sacred place by spreading your noobishness on this site.
Providing a free service, you are going to have problems with people feeling entitled to your work so you need to be prepared. I say you should IP ban anyone who tells you to focus on a different project or is otherwise trolling but just ignore people asking about if X show is done yet. That said, you should wield the ban-hammer responsibly so you don’t become like those jerks at DB.

How about you get a shotbox or some kind of chat/comment thing for the front page? As you have the site set up now the only way to say anything to you is through the comments, and most people would assume the most recent post would be the best to reach you.

I really hope you are putting broad IP bans on anyone who does this. Personally, I think when you say “if you ask about working we will delay it,” some trolls think it is a good idea to ask about it just to piss you off and make you “regret” your words.

I wish it was easier to IP ban people on WordPress, but actually, it’s incredibly complicated and difficult. There’s supposedly a plugin for it, but only the server administrator can install plugins, and he’s very lazy, lol. Otherwise, I would’ve been banning people all over the place by now. :p

Actually, I meant to say that you could make room for a permanent part of the site that keeps people updated of what you do and how far you’ve gotten. I think that would work.

It’s funny how some fansubs whine about the 13yr old like comments when they themselves act that way. Nothing wrong with it, but don’t expect the comments to be all meaningful when you yourself pull trolls/rants/whining.
Why not turn off comments? If someone REALLY wanted to say something, don’t you have IRC?
Maybe a good idea would be to autospam show names.
Then people would be forced to whine about “this show” in its respective post.
Maybe you can make a member point system, everything a member makes an offensive or stupid comment gets 1 point deducted.
When the points reaches 0, he would be suspended from making comments for like 3 days or 1 week?
I don’t even look at the airing schedule. When you make a release I download it. I pick only one group to download from a show that I’m watching. Keep up the good work.

Hey just leaving a comment saying take your time and keep up the good work. I have a suggestion about the whole people asking about when certain episodes will come out. Why not set up a registration on your site. That way you can have people register as users to leave comments. That way if there’s someone that is asking when a episode comes out you can ban their IP and delete their account so that they can’t post comments or even view the site. Just a suggestion though, not sure if you want to go through with it just cause of a few people.

Idiots will always find a way to request for their animes, disabling the comments will only make them use IRC.
