Today I watched the OP of Index II. And I came to a startling revelation.
The following characters have appeared in both of Index S1’s OPs and Raingun’s OPs:
1. Mikoto
2. Kuroko
3. Uiharu
4. Saten
First two are obvious. For Uiharu and Saten, look at 00:18 in Index OP1 (in the cafe), and 00:23.5 in Index OP2 (Walking past Misaka Mikoto). Any other characters were missing from one of the four OPs.
The following characters of the list above appear in Index S2’s OP:
1. Mikoto
2. Kuroko
3. Uiharu
The following character is not:
1. Saten
Index II’s OP is now terrible, and I suggest we all boycott the series until OP2 when JC Staff will (hopefully) add her in.

But wait! While Saten-san did not appear in Index II’s OP, she appeared in the main episode itself! A marvelous achievement compared to her insignificant performance in season 1! Here’s Saten-san in her full, non-OP cameo glory:
Boycotting a series because the opening is not “as good” as it should be and it lacks a character doesn’t make any sense! It’s just an opening! Yes, they’re cool, but frankly, who cares. It’s the actual Anime that counts, no?
It has come to our attention that Chihiro Fansubs has expressed disappointment at the unfortunate absence of a certain character, namely Ruiko Saten, in the opening sequence of Toaru Majutsu no Index II. While it was unavoidable with all the new characters appearing in the new season, combined with budget and time restraints, the most we could offer was to give her a cameo on the bridge alongside her friend, Kazari Uiharu, as was astutely pointed out by one of your fellow members, Kuzu.
As of this writing, Ruiko Saten was not scheduled to appear in the second opening sequence, either. Although, after reading through a certain posters opinion on this message board about their “dissatisfaction” of our Toaru Kagaku no Railgun series, followed by my forwarding it to various staff members who facilitate final decisions, I can say that this matter is back on the table and Ruiko Saten may yet appear in the second opening of Toaru Majutsu no Index II based on more “personal” reasons.
Also, we at JC Staff would like to show our appreciation for the wonderful translation you have provided our program with the introduction of a new character in the upcoming second season of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun named, Kristen Kuzukaze. We hope you look forward to it as much as we do in producing it and hope that your subbing of our series will continue with the same commitment and dedication to excellence as before.

As far as I known there is no Saten character in index manga, she is only present in Railgun manga, why do u want here here as well?
