So, last episode they changed the OP animation to have Durandal instead of Riko. And this episode it’s Riko again. Did they seriously go through the trouble of changing the OP for one single episode? God.

@TheThing
Loli
They’re commited and show passion for, umm, the anime!
lol
LOL?
I don’t think it’s that hard to change that one clip.
Changing it? No. Animating that clip just to use it once then go back to the original the very next episode was a huge waste of time though.
lol @ shirayuki defending her love to Kinji.
thanks
My impression is that, the first few episodes are good, but from then on, it just keeps deteriorating.
I think, due to bad writing, the series feels forced and thus deteriorating.
It’s not bad writing, just bad directing. They took out all the good parts from the novels, and so we’re stuck with the lame, ecchi, and tsundere parts.
@Soichiro
Isn’t that writing? I mean, they had to write a script for the animated series, even if it’s an adaptation, and if that’s the case, shouldn’t the writers and producers be the ones getting the blame, the writers for putting together a bad script and the producers actually okaying it? I mean, ultimately, the director can only direct what the producers allow, right?
Having watched a few more episodes, the less Aria per episode, the more entertaining it is. The episodes focused on Shirayuki and Durandel were actually quite good (relative to the other episodes, to say the least).
If you made a drinking game where you took a hit everytime you wanted to punch Aria in the face, you might drink yourself into a coma.
Hi guys, I just found out about Chihiro subs and that they were subbing Hidan no Aria. If you guys don’t mind could you please tell me which is a safer way of downloading the episodes. Bittorrent, fileserve, or megaupload? I have never used bittorrent or those two sites. So the help would be appreciated.
@Freshman
If Chihiro puts their downloads on any of those sites you can assume they are safe. The only major difference is whether you want to direct download or bittorrent.
@Ren
I see, would using bittorrent and using the links posted on Chihiro’s site be as safe or safer than using the ddl sites. Sorry, I new to using bittorrent and as for using ddl sites, I havent used one for a very long time.
@freshman, if you are unfamiliar with torrents use one of the DDLs. Otherwise just download and install either Bittorrent or uTorrent and just download the .torrent file and click it, easy as pie
@Natsu
Yes, I am unfamiliar with torrents and it was my friend who told me about Chihiro and how he torrents a lot of anime. However, I didnt get to ask him which was safer before he went away for vacation, so I thought that the people at Chihiro might be kind enough to ask such a question.
Sorry I meant to say answer such a question.
@Freshman
I use Vuze to download torrents but any program is fine, really. I don’t really use Fileserve but Megaupload is safe and reliable.
“Did they seriously go through the trouble of changing the OP for one single episode?”
They have a lot of free time, i guess.
They have such a lot of free time, that they changed the OP again for episode 10!
@Ren
I am just curious wat is the difference between Bittorrent and utorrent and wat is this btdna that comes with it?
@Freshman
Bittorrent is the general downloading mechanic that lets people take little pieces from others who have downloaded the file (the seeders). Its an effective way of downloading large files and takes the burden off of servers to host those files. uTorrent is just a program that lets you bittorrent files. ๐
Never heard of btdna. I presume it isn’t very important :X
@Ren
Ah, I see. I thought that Bittorrent was a program too, just like utorrent and was wondering is there any difference between the programs?
Also, the biggest probable reason Jeanne is shown in the OP for the episode and replaced, is because focus returns back to Riko. Spoilers for those who haven’t watched episode 10: Jeanne shows up as a French transfer student.
@Freshman
‘Fraid not. There are a whole ton of Bittorrent programs that all use torrent files. Figure I’l give you a bit more of an informative reply this time than what the others have done, so bear with me for a bit, as this’l be a bit of a long text.
For a really good, and easy to use Bittorrent program, go for “uTorrent” (just Google it). It’s one of the best torrent programs out there. Also, while using DDL’s is a good, quick and easy choice when grabbing just one smaller file, you’l still need a Bittorrent program in order to download large video files (such as an Anime Movie in full HD and Bluray quality, which can be several Gigabytes big), or batches with many files/whole series, that might contain 24 episodes or more, and can be even more huge. Otherwise, if you were to use DDL’s all the time for all anime downloading, you would sometimes have to leave the download window open (and therefore the computer ON) for several days to download large movies, and for whole series you would have to download each and every file one by one, which can be really tedious and time consuming. And not all groups provide DDL’s for all their anime releases, and many don’t provide DDL’s at all.
Therefore, I recommend you use a Bittorrent program for downloading anime when you can anyway, if you’re going to start seriously watching some. Torrents aren’t all that unsafe anyway, as long as you download trusted ones that aren’t put on some shady sites, and you don’t download tons of highly illegal stuff. Remember that Bittorrent programs are “file sharing” programs though, so leave your download window open for a little while after you have finished downloading, so other peole can get a bit of the file/files from you, and then share it with others. Otherwise, if everyone closed their windows right after they’ve finished downloading their files, Bittorrent programs would be useless.
Two terms you should know when using Bittorrent programs, so that you know what other people are talking about: “Seeders” are the people currently sharing/uploading the files, meaning that “Seeding” is to share/upload the files. “Leechers” are the people downloading the files, meaning that “Leeching” is to simply download the files. I hope that helped. : )
@Rokudaime
Wow, thanks for the informative reply. I will take your advice and download utorrent, as I already dled bittorrent because I thought this was the only program for this, which is also why I asked about the btdna.exe and was wondering if it is needed. But, I did find something called utorrent on the bittorrent’s official site.
So, just wanted to thank everyone on Chihiro for helping me. Especially, Ren for replying so much and Rokudaime for this info.
You’re quite welcome. Glad I could help. ; )
