When Sailor Moon S aired from ’94-’95 there were many amazing things about it. The Witches 5 were far more entertaining than in the manga, for instance, and Professor Tomoe was hilarious. But it missed this specific episode, which by far was the most powerful in the entire series. I literally cried. >.>
Did you know that Hotaru, Mistress 9, and Sailor Saturn all have the same Voice Actress? She had to do the most acting of any character in the series to get all 3 personalities in.
I vote that we reverse the roles and the pink-haired monstrosity is the one who gets strangled instead.
The pool scene made me rage hard. First they jump in. And their eyes are open. Have you ever tried to open your eyes underwater without goggles, it’s super painful! Then they have that kiss, and they’re in like 20 feet of water. But then next they’re standing in it no problem. How does Mai’s magic pool work?! |
