We are clearly talking some fantasy world space, and the “CO” is quite clear in the audio track.

Nonono, Isohunt has the torrent file itself, I think you’re choosing the wrong link, I download and open the torrent fine. Above the link to anirena, there’s a download link for the torrent from Isohunt, so you don’t need to go to the anirena file, which doesnt exist.

Why do you leechers comment on quality when you watch crappy SD xvid encodes?
Chihiro ‘s releases are not quality in any way, be it translation or encfoding, and never were, especially not for ZKC. The video was overfiltered/oversharpened and used an inferior source, but clearly you wouldn’t know that since you’re watching an even more overfiltered downscale, get a better PC if it’s too slow or get install the right codecs(CCCP+CoreAVC(if slow pc)) if you haven’t. And on top of that, Deculture did not drop this show, they are just very slow at it because of some members being busy, but I expect them to release quality subs in a few weeks for ep 15.

I don’t recall ever stating that I was more than one leecher, so… I don’t have an answer for you. I also seed, so I’m not 100% leecher. What makes you think all leechers think alike? Leechers are people too… individual and at least slightly unique.
Anyway, it would be as pointless as arguing about which flavor of ice cream is “better.” Sure, you can roll out the facts and say that chocolate ice cream has 200% more chocolate than neopolitan ice cream… but what’s the point? You like what you like, I like what I like. That’s all that matters.
Regardless of my previous statements, thanks for the tip about CoreAVC. I’ll give it a try. Maybe I’ll get hooked on HD encodes after all.

I’m sorry if I offended you, while my tone might have been a bit abrupt, it wasn’t what I intended. In the fansub world, a leecher is someone who downloads anime without fansubbing himself, it’s not a reference to the bittorrent concept of leecher, it used to be a derogatory term, but this meaning was mostly lost over the years.
My problem was that a lot of leechers who have not experienced many better subs, say that Chihiro subs are good quality, however, they have either not experienced quality fansubs/encodes, or simply lack the experience to tell what a good release it, I bet that a lot would change their mind if they took a Chihiro sub and compare it with a release made by a truly quality group like Eclipse,Menclave,Ureshii, Ayu(and other quality groups) or a rip by a quality dvd/bdrip group like niizk(dvd), THORA(HD/bluray/hddvd) and so on. You will notice major differences in translation, typesetting and video quality. The reason why Chihiro can’t do that is simply because they strongly believe against making quality subs because it causes them to be slow. It’s not really about the flavor of your ice cream here, if you want a better example in, imagine you have some ice cream, a quality group might add some flavor to it or do nothing, while chihiro will pick up some dropped ice cream from the ground and shove it in an Ice Cream cone, in a speedy manner before serving it to the leecher 🙂 A lot will not notice, but others will refuse eating it.
Small tip to assure CoreAVC is active: Make sure you disable ffdshow’d decoding of h264 after installing CoreAVC, check in MPC if the filter is active. Even with CoreAVC, you’ll need at least a P4 to decode 720p HD. Good Luck!

Update: I installed the trial of CoreAVC, adjusted MPC as you suggested, and played ZKC 17 as a test. Unfortunately, the video lags behind the audio but at least I did get to see how HD looks: very sharp and clear! It’s like ice cream made with high quality ingredients.
I’ll go search for a support forum; maybe I can find a checklist for settings and find out what I’m not doing correctly. Thanks again for the info.
I just finished watching this episode and the audio lagged on my computer. I think you need to re-encode it to match up better with the video. I have not had this problem with most other videos that have been properly encoded, including you guys at Chihiro.
Um it’s Comerica not America, I guess they tried to make it a fictional country even though we know who they are supposed to be. I already read somewhere someone grousing because of the sideways flag.
