So, I prematurely made one of these a few days ago. Sorry, my bad.
Today. Site was down because of our domain name services. It was something on their part, not ours, so we had nothing we could do but wait.
Tomorrow. Looking to release quite a few things tomorrow. No kono aozora today due to certain issues we encountered, but we will be releasing possible ZKC 26, Ikki OVA, Kono 07, Kono 08, and WD 13 tomorrow. Note, this is POSSIBLE. If Real Life interferes or something doesn’t go as planned, we’ll have some of these go to Thursday. Also we should get the banner contest winner up tomorrow.
Fall 2008:
We did a lot of thought into this during the past week, and we’ve come to a decision.
We’re dropping the following series because we’ve decided that they have enough coverage this upcoming fall according to the plans of other groups. Instead, we will be waiting to pick up shows that will not be subbed, or have not been completed. But this does not mean we are unwilling to pick up a show that has fallen behind significantly.
1. Chaos;Head
2. Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka
There will be 2 new shows added instead of these shows. We will not announce them until we release the first episode. Both new shows will be in Chihiro speedsub format.

In economic terms, [Chihiro] is generating value to us, the fansubbed anime watcher, as it gives us more variety.
Thankyou Chihiro, for not caving in to oversubbing.
And while waiting for World Destruction, let me say:
There are two kinds of fansubbers kuma~
1) speedsubbers
2) quality subbers
I have to admit, Chihiro manages things well.
If this keeps up, it’s possible to run an actual company. 🙂

um just a question, I saw on the fansubwiki you guys were the only consistent group out of the three that are there that was going to do Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka so how is it over subbing?
I’m waiting for anything that chihiro release, specially this coming season… I counted more than 20 titles worthwhile to see… OF COURSE No Gay (Yaoi) Titles please…

my autumn anime series list just got alot shorter. i hate .mkv coz 90% of the groups who only sub in that way are elitist wankers who are actually pretty crap at the subbing job.
plus why would u choose to sub in that format if u dont have to?

You are completely missing the point. Take myself for example, I can play Mkv, mp4 and avi + other “fancy” codecs that the elitist wankers put in just fine. And, I didn’t need cccp to do it.
Fact is, I want XVID because it’s the codec of my choice, plain and simple.
Chihiro, please do consider Akane. You’ve always been a great group, you’d do it justice.
*Sign* all I can hope is a fansubbing group would be kind enough to at least release in hardsubbed .mp4, so that it’s easier to convert it to XVID.

I (also) have CCCP installed, but that doesn’t change the fact that I prefer a hardsubbed XviD with an AVI container.
