I have to say, isn’t this like the perfect project for Chihiro? Ecchi, popular, and has multiple staff members wanting to work on it.
Originally, I wasn’t planning on doing this when some staff members brought it up about a month ago. We had nobody to translate it, and I thought we already had enough projects for the fall. But, we have recently added 2 new translators, and they both want to do it. So, we have a translator and a backup for this.
But, please do NOT expect this on any Thursday. The only thing worse than excessive fanservice is censored excessive fanservice, as a staff member said. We will only release panty shots, no exceptions.
We will release 720p h.264 and 396/400p XviD as per norm. We will also be adding karaoke in either next episode or the one after that. However, we will not stall for karaoke, no exceptions.
We have 4 releases planned for today, this is the second.

I just noticed something. on this comments page it says “Published by Kristen on Oct 4th, 2007”
lol 2 stations airing this anime censored it and 2 others didn’t. The earliest airing is from TVO on Wednesdays but they’re one of the stations who censored it. The rest airs later in the week

To answer questions, yes, Kannagi and RV2 are POSSIBLE projects. We’re not going to sub them if they get oversubbed.
I personally can’t stand censorship so I’ll wait till someone subs those uncensored raws

So much better minus the bats, and with subs so I know what the hell they are saying. It was odd though how the bats didn’t cover all the pantsu.
Just a random comment – ? (????[ryou]) I think would be more understood by subtitle-readers as dormitory than hostel. When I think hostel I think of that crappy horror movie or a place where prostitutes gather… ???
Thank God that there are reasonable people in the world who sub anime in the form it’s meant to be seen. God bless you Kristen and the entire Chihiro staff!! Although, that isn’t much coming from me as I haven’t read a bible or gone to church since I was 4.

Great release imo. Excelent vid quality on the 720p, and a fitting font for the show in my opinion. Translation seemed fine and I really don’t give a fuck about kara, I actually prefer my animu without it. I find it just clutters up the screen most of the time anyway. Hope you can keep this standard up, Chihiro team.
