Following the steps on the instructions page, I tried the code request. I get the same page, but instead of the time to check back, I get a proxy error message 🙁
My Kanji-fu isn’t as good as my hiragana or katakana, so I’m not sure exactly what “ERROR:PROXY??????(80)?” means.
I’ll check back again a bit later.
… and it seems while cutting and pasting in the reply text box is ok, the characters are lost in the submission 🙁

since I’m on a stupid Windows work machine and can’t install any Japanese language support software, I can’t enter Japanese characters. On the off chance the code site comes good in the next few hours, is there somewhere I can cut and paste the Chihiro text from for the vote?
@Frank: oh, one more thing I noticed RE: voting on the instruction page –
“6. Copy and Paste your vote code into the Text Box, then add the names of who you want to vote for including the <>’s and @’s. Oh, and it all has to be in JASCII, their parser is rather anal about that detail.”
Not sure but maybe your entry isn’t in JASCII? I assume that’s a specific setting for whatever input method you’re using, like the “full width”/”half width” kana settings on the MS IME bar (from memory)

Quite simple to vote actually (my 15th time).
I just copied the vote code, then copied the character’s (i.e. Chihiro) name as well.
No problem for me during submission. Not using any Jap software/function/language bar.

There’s no 1 click link. You need to generate a code (approx. 1 hr 15 mins – 2 hrs waiting time), then go to the voting thread and post your code there, along with who you’re voting for. By following the instructions in the link above you should be able to vote (no need to understand Japanese).
