Kyou no Go no Ni – 06

k5206

Happy weekly dose of loli, mina-san!

By the way, I’ve noticed we’ve been getting a lot of blogger pinback lately. Guess we’re not obscure anymore? O.o

Oh, another thing. To people re-encoding our encodes to XviD, please, just do something more worth your time. We do our own XviDs. It’s more sensible to re-encode a group that doesn’t do XviD than one that does.

h.264: Yah~

XviD: >.>

  • mindpower

    ty once again another great release ! πŸ™‚

  • hm…

    did episode 5 get fixed yet?

    i’m gonna hold off on getting any of the episodes until either…

    a. a different group releases
    b. a batch torrent is released by chihiro with v2 or v3 files

  • Boobies

    suiton.

    Episode 5 will be fixed when people have time. \o/

  • MV

    thank you Chihiro keep them coming

  • gman1211

    lol if people are making your episodes to xvid why not just get them to join the chihiro team xD

  • LiLGh0st

    BOO… LET ME JOIN!!!

  • Aldric

    I looooove you Chihiro!

  • mark4000

    @suiton

    uh….it might just be my imagination but you’re probably gonna have to do the same thing with ep6. (-_-;)

  • GotChocolate?

    man it takes too much time to re-encode on a episode definetly not even worth it unless no hard sub like bss michiko no hatchin with no sd thx for the release (what is a standard time for a good encoder?)

  • Vertago

    @mark4000

    nope it wasn’t yur imagination…i stopped counting a few mins into the episode. Even for a speed sub…i’ll just stop there (-_-‘)

  • Gregory

    That was fast! Thanks so much guys.

  • Well, if people say it slow down again, I better wait for the XVid this time. :/

  • So unless another group decides to pick this up and do a more consistent and better job, I guess I’ll stick with the 1 volume scanlated manga.

  • Vst

    The preview for next ep was unwatchable as usual. Whoever is encoding these needs to get encoding lessons I suppose. Thank you for the subs though..

  • TC-man

    I hope there will be an episode 6v2 (720P H264) since there’s one timing issue. The line “Don’t you want to see how much it takes to wake him up?” at 0:03:21.64 (ends at 0:03:22.30) should begin earlier. The timing for this line should be at 0:03:18.64 and should ends at 0:03:21.30. As for the lagging and slow-down issue, I got this problem too at the end of the episode (during the ED song and preview).

    Unwatchable with a single cpu core system (Athlon64 [email protected] ghz); cpu-load is at 100% when running the mentioned video during ED song and Preview, while my other pc with a dual core (X2 [email protected]) can play the video without problem, but the cpu-load is around 70% (during the ED song and preview). The newest mediaplayer classic and K-lite megacodec are installed on both systems.

    “Well, if people say it slow down again, I better wait for the XVid this time. :/”

    Yep. I’m definitely gonna wait for the XviD. You can never go wrong with XviD! ^_^

    ………………..hopefully….<_<

  • Maruno

    Once again, some missing and/or mistimed lines, and the very end had the video slowing down. Did something happen to Chihiro recently to cause this? Because I don’t remember such problems from their earlier videos.

    It’s a shame, really, because other than those errors (and the missing karaoke) Chihiro has all the hallmarks of a great fansubbing group.

  • Justas

    if you ask me the episode works perfectly i didnt get even one problem (except for the late line which TC-man mentioned. If you have PC’s from like the 2000s don’t expect the video ir h.264 format to work perfectly lol

  • Justas

    by the way when i wrote “ir” i meant “in”

  • scott

    well I got all the same problems as others seem to have. but when I just paused/unpaused – or something similiar – it fixed itself everytime, even at the end, so I thought it was great. thanks for subbing this show =)

  • Boobies

    The videos are supposed to be checked over, as the encoder isn’t checking them before handing them over (QC is supposed to handle that).

    AFAIK, no one is telling the encoder there is a problem.

    However, I’ve tested out the encode on one of my slower machines (C2D 1.8GHZ) and experience no playback issues at all. That was with CCCP/MPC/CoreAVC.

  • mark4000

    “”if you ask me the episode works perfectly i didnt get even one problem (except for the late line which TC-man mentioned. If you have PC’s from like the 2000s don’t expect the video ir h.264 format to work perfectly lo””

    Wouldn’t that be applicable to ALL h.264 videos then?

  • mrkorb

    AMD Athlon X2 64 4200+
    2 GB RAM
    9-21-08 CCCP release

    Having slow down issues on both episodes 5 and 6 at the end. No issues with prior episodes encoded in h264, nor with any of your other series also encoded in h264.

  • Boobies

    @mrkorb.

    I’ll take a look into the issue, the video plays perfectly fine on my machine; so I’ll take a closer look into the settings.

    If there is indeed an issue, I’ll rectify it by episode 7 and put out a V2 of 5/6.

    PS: 2GB of RAM with a processor like that is just wrong. πŸ™

  • Doyen

    I’m also having problems with ep. 5 and 6 at the end. Also I’ve had no problems with any prior episodes encoded in h264, nor with any of your other series. Every episode of ToLuv Ru in h264 was perfect. I’m running an Intel P4 3GHz, 2 GB ram, 256MB video card, latest CCCP and MPC.

  • Neko

    @Encoder
    What’s up with you? I stil found slow down like ep 5.

    @Timer & TL
    There are some untranslated lines and 1 off timing.

    @QC
    The script still have some wierd word (untranslated)

  • …again,

    Here is what I’m considering (one of the options below)

    1. Not watch the TV version & stick with the OVA and the scanlated manga.
    2. Wait for a better group to do the series.
    3. Wait for a group to do a better job using DVDs are the source

  • LordOmnit

    To the people saying that they have no problems at all and blaming it on the people’s computers I have this to say:
    1) You may be right for some people, but don’t expect your explaination to be the end-all-be-all
    2) I may have a crappy computer, but I can play BS-Subs’ Michiko to Hatchin very easily and smoothly, so I don’t think that very slow-moving, nigh static parts of the video in a significantly smaller file are going to give me any trouble at all
    3) MANY people are complaining about the exact same parts (which, again, should not be very intense for a computer compared to other parts of the video)
    None of the other episodes had any problems and the problems in six were significantly less compared to five, so I won’t whine and bitch, but a second version for both would be wonderful.

  • Sharath

    patiently waiting for the xvid, cant play h.264 in my laptop
    thanks chihiro for your great work..

  • sadasd

    Man this episode suffers from the same problem as episode 5. What is wrong with your releases for this?

    The episode plays perfectly fine until all of a sudden it just has a total shit fit and slows down to slideshow speed.

    I’ve never had this happen with a release before, including files that look a lot better than this. Simply put, **your encoder is doing something wrong!** =/

  • BestNOne

    why xvid format so slow i need xvid because my computer cannot play h264

  • Icey

    hi any updates for the xvid? thx πŸ™‚

  • GothLoliMai

    Thank you guys so much for subbing this! Will the XVID version of this episode be released soon. Thank you again.

  • Frank

    this is a really good show thank you for subbing it. i hope the xvid version come out soon

  • User1

    episode 5&6 xvids have missing lines i think 5 had one line, and 6 has 2 lines missing. but i understood, all good, v2’s would be nice, but i’m in no hurry, also xvid’s have been faster recently, thanks. you guys deliver.
