Let me get straight to the point before I lose my temper from other stuff:
For those who don’t know, I’m the provider for Chihiro’s Direct Download service. The downloads are shared between my server, and my Mediafire account. I hope it’s helping out a lot of you who don’t/can’t use bittorrent, and for those who can’t/don’t know how to use IRC. Anyways, not the point, I don’t get paid for this. Anyways, starting November 28th, the DDL service will start to be slowed due to “life.” I have exams coming up that I need to study for. (Well just one, and that’s chemistry. Yeah, hard stuff) As soon as that’s out of the way, Turkey Day comes through, and I’m going to be busy all day throughout that. And what do you know? November 28th is knocking on your doorstep. Originally, the date was for November 30th, but I simply said no to it. Even though I do give every effort each night to visit the site, and download anything to mirror, it’s just about to change. With school in mind, I’m involved with track & field with runs on a day to day basis. Both is starting to pick up, and I’m a student before I’m an athlete. I’m an athlete before anything else. So with that said, don’t expect me to work miracles starting next week. It just won’t happen. And if you are going to complain that I’m being slow, and I’m not uploading certain episodes and/or formats, I’ll just cut the service. Don’t be a leecher to the community, and you will get along just fine. That’s all.

I love your subs that being said I know future and life take presidence over hobbies. I seriously think people who bitch should take it upon themselves to learn japanese and watch the episodes themselves or stop complaining about speed of subs.

Fry that turkey, and have some fun with your family! If you can’t use IRC or Torrents, there is always plenty of other sites that have the shows on RS, MU, etc.

Luck on your exams. I happen to be one of those people that dont like irc, so I dont use it.
Instead of using your own servers, what about free hosting sites like megaupload.com
and for those who know how to use bt but are unable to do so(p2p blocking),
try using imageshack torrent drive, its free .. 5G storage, 10G traffic/month
you may find starting downloads difficult as it only has limited slots for free users(spamming start button or check4change@firefox helps tho)
It’s okay. Sensible people like the few of us would understand. For those that take fansubs and people who provide free DLLs and bots, for granted, screw them. It’s your life dude. Your life comes before others. Screw whatever those inconsiderate lowlifes say about your DDL uploading and stuff. If they have time for complaints, they should just use that time to be more productive for themselves by searching for alternate sources or learning to use the mIRC/torrents.
RL issues should always come first and good luck with chemistry, it can be a bitch 😛

Specific request, and I guess here’s as good a place as any for it: could you put the rest of Zettai Karen Children up? That series is especially irritating for me (as someone unable to torrent) because Sakura (the xdcc bot) has most of the episodes, but is missing a few in the middle.

I actually prefer Torrent rather than DDL, I never DDL a single episode before actually =.=
Torrent can resume or pause but DDL can’t, I always have alot of episodes in queue.
I’m already very grateful Chihiro is subbing for free, I wonder why some people insist on DDL instead of using Torrent o.O?
Well i prefer torrent myself but the problem is i cant find the torrents for Zettai Karen Children episodes 12,14 and 15 (xviD format)… can somebody help me on this??? and about the DDL incase thats my last resort how does that thing work because it always open up my Media Player ??? thanks and in advance
Well DDL does work better for some than torrents. If I have a very good connection and go to download something off my server, I can get around 600 KBs. (that’s bytes, not bits) That’s really good. For torrents, if they are seeded well, I can get anywhere from 100 kB/s to 1 MB. (Which is near my max download speed)
At the end of the day, it really is what works for you. Nobody’s gonna stop you from using it. And since this is my first time commenting to the post since I posted:

Thank You for the response Demonchild… just wondering is it normal when i use the DDL it opens up my Media Player?? and im not really familiar with the DDL i always been using torrent or if i direct download i always get it to either Mediafire or Depositefiles… Thanks Again and Do your best in and have fun in RL… Happy ThanksGiving ^_^
