seriously though, what is up with all this ‘why are you dropping Skip Beat’ crap? Do we really need to rehash this with each and every episode post? Can’t people at least do a site or google search? maybe look at older posts? Not read the site much?
Not really a big deal as the entire first 13 episode season will be subbed by chihiro, and the ‘people’ who got a license only got a license for the first season.
Really not a big deal. But lip service must be paid I guess. (or do you play lip service? weird expression…)

I appreciate the work you put into your subs, and I’m grateful for all the fansubbers who do what they do. However, if a fast release means a big drop in quality, I’d rather you take a few more days to really quality check your release. This episode has been full of grammar/punctuation errors that makes it look like the episode never got QC’ed.
I really don’t agree with “k”, the episode was great and i really don’t care/notice punctuation/grammar, all i need is for it to be understandable, and it Was

Yes, I agree. Speed subs do go though a editing process, fixing the grammar and spelling mistakes. Sorry Skip Beat fans.

though i admit i did notice multiple grammar errors in this episode i would rather watch Chihiros’ fansubs than Ureshiis’ Their translations are rather pathetic in some areas.
example: start of ep 3, kyoko-chan does her daikon cutting/slicing trick, aiming for a rose it becomes too big, looking more like a cabbage, as Chihiro translated. Ureshii on the other hand translated it as a Peony, a dif type of flower.
now i dont know which is the correct translation but it defo looks like a cabbage. not a peony.
id rather read something simple and logical even if the grammar is off from time to time, rather than something where even someone who doesnt speak any easter languages knows that the translation wasnt worded in the best posibble or even correct way.

what about the xvid v2?
There isn’t an xvid v2. the xvid is already the correct one. Only the mkv needed the corrected file.

I was just wondering if episode 10 will be released soon. I know it has been shown in Japan as I have seen a listing for the raw version of it on Veoh.
It is a shame that Tokyo TV is releasing Skip Beat in the US and that you will no longer sub it at the end of the year. That just will mean that I will have to find it elsewhere.
Does anyone know how many episodes they plan on doing?
