Last thing. If you’ve noticed, we’ve called this series “Zettai Shogeki” and not “Zettai Shougeki”. This is not an issue of the romanization of the kanji title. There was a soundtrack released with scans with episode one, and it had the title spelled out on the front page. See for yourself. There is no – over the o in Shogeki, nor is there a u, so the official title does not have a u. Tid bit of extra knowledge. XD

Why so anal about it? I’d still say Kashimashi and not Kasimasi since it sounds weird, and I won’t spell Sacchin’s name Yumiduka (YumiDOOka lol) just because those weird japs romanize it as so. inb4 o/wo argument.

If the video and audio is just out of sync or it behaves otherwise slow. it most likely is cos your machine is too old (slow)
I’ve played A LOT of mkv realeses from chihiro and other groups and have never problems, all i have is cccp –> mpc – player.
Try installing that codec pack again.

Like Shirofin just said, if you are having trouble watching the video with subs but have the player and codec installed correctly, the problem is with your computer and not with the video file. Try getting a RAM upgrade before you go and replace your system, though. Better yet, before you even drop the coin on some RAM do a little “spring cleaning” and get rid of all the crap that builds up in the system and bogs it down. I recommend CCleaner and Defragler to get the job done quickly and easily. They’re both free and work fantastically. Hope this helps a little.
Um… to be quite honest… My PC at how was like 1 gHz single core 512 MB ram, 80 GB HDD, and it was able to play all SD MKVs fine. Only time it didn’t was with a 720p MKV, and with that it was able to synch about 6 minutes before skewing.
Seriously, download CCCP, and watch it in MPC. If you have worse than that, you need a better computer. Or, alternatively, you can say “Wait, they provide an XviD for compatability issues. Maybe I’m not a compatible computer?”
True. My point is that just because a person is having trouble viewing the episode doesn’t necessarily mean they need to get a new computer to do so. I have a 3.4 GHz single core, 1 GB RAM and an 80 GB HDD that is nearly four years old under the same configuration but I can view the .,mkv files just fine. By doing a little maintenance and a RAM upgrade if needed, a lot of people who are having trouble viewing the ep’s now can do so without having to replace their entire system.
GJ on the hobs guys, but I can’t seem to get thru to to either anirena or animetake to grab the thingy. Maybe it’s just me….. sigh. Been waiting for a month to grab this ep and I can’t.
And again I forgot that this site doesn’t support East Asian font….. sigh.
