Woohoo! Thanks so much for subbing this season. It’s been rather fun watching more of this show along with Maria+Holic in the same season. Season 5? Hadn’t heard about it yet, but I’ve had my head a bit in the sand about new series lately. Will be fun to see a season 5.

My beloved Marimite is over.
There will be NO 5th Season because the story is finished.
The Light Novel from Oyuki Konno is finished – the source of the anime.
I dont think Marimite will be Marimite if they try to make their own story without the original author.

the news about season 5 of the maria-sama anime if its true then can’t wait for it. if its just a rumour or joke then that is a bit sad. however i would personally like to see it continue either as another season or ova. there are still much more they can do. i don’t see any thing wrong if they go for a anime original if the novel is finished.

what are you talking about ? As far as I know the light novel is still ongoing
and as of today 35 volumes has been released but the season 4 of the anime does not cover volumes 32-35 (not sure on that tough)

@ Rosa, the story is not finished, as far as the anime goes. The novels just ended recently. Until it is officially announced, the rumor is 5th season will be much like the 3rd season and consist of OVA style releases.

I watched the first episode of queens blade…HORRIBLE! didn’t even have a decent storyline.
judging by the pic, touko and yumi is becoming sours, (i`m on ep 3 of the 4th, had to see the first seasons first).
i hate touko-chan, so… to hell with her and welcome kanako, she`s the best that`s ever happened to marimite:P

I hated Touko too – but you will love her in the last few episodes of 4th – I guarantee!
They really turn her in one of the greatest Characters in the series at the end.
But even with that in mind: Sachiko will be my number 1 forever – and Canina Shizuka of course.
