Kristen, risen from the dead, was looking for fresh meat. And then she came upon the lonely windstar.
She was quick out of the get go, building a massive army! Her naval fleet grew, and soon she had control over almost all the river! But, the windstar was too quick for her, and created a sudden barrage of cannons and watch towers to the north!
Kristen was unabashed, and set a crew of women and children to ford the river and cut him off from the entire south of the map! windstar, too busy playing with his wife and kids, suddenly had a epic wall to his south, a river to his east, and a forest to the north and west! How could he ever ford the river to attack the might fortress of queen Kristen?
Suddenly, to his north, his cannons came under siege! What was happening? There was nothing in sight… Wait, could it be… A trebuchet!
One by one, his might towers fell. And while he was watching, the women and children of Kristen’s kingdom began to seal off the river, so that no windstars may ever appear again!
windstar was in distress, and running low on supplies, so he hid in his castle holding his legs to his chest, praying Kristen would leave him alone while his army grew. And grew it did, while Kristen managed to seal off the entire map from him, except his tiny fortress.
An army of trebuchets rolled out, an one by one, the towers of windstar fell. This was Kristen’s chance! She rushed in and began to devastate the homes of many, kill the children via rape, and destroy even the town hall!
But, this was windstar’s chance to attack. Out of his fortress he issued all forms of beings! Dragons, Lions, Cougars! So valiantly they fought against the double attack from Kristen, but their numbers became devastated. The one courageous soldier left then fled to the river and hurled himself against the walls! But, it was too late. Kristen had boats waiting him, and he died a miserable painful death.
The mighty horses stormed the remains of windstar’s fortress to see him hiding under soiled sheets. A slice was heard, and the people of Kristen cheered as his head was brought back as the prize!
(We’ll get back to subbing tomorrow. What we were waiting for is happening.)
What manner of boredom turned this site into an age of empires 2 battle report listing? Not complaining, its a great game though. If you recorded the matches and made videos, I would be all over that 😀

I want to convert the PL and a few other shows to play on my iPod Touch. What do you recommend to convert the MKV files you guys post?
iPhone/Touch video req are:

So far I have tried several videoTOipod converting programs and they all suck. They are either super slow, PL 11 took 33 min, or the files they produce are too large. I’m using a Q6700 @ 3ghz with 6gig ram so I know I can easily handle the conversion.
What do you recomend?

I`ve got the same problem but with another device.
If you want to convert mkv to ipod touch, you have to do it in two steps.
First you have to create a hardsubbed file like avi and from that you can easy convert it to Ipod touch with some avi2Ipod freeware.
I searched for months for something that can do it directly but you won`t find anything. It`s much faster to do it in two steps.

LOL AoE is the best, I just recently got the game gain and started to play. If you want a real challange, try Empire Earth, The Ai is so cheap and gets a army faster than you can make 3 buildings, but you can still win with determination! Just dont expect a short match lol. I got one thats been 8 hours long, and still not finished.
