720p: Kazumi >>>> Shana!

Could someone point me to the right FLAC codec used? The codec I downloaded from flac.sourceforge.net does nothing for giving me audio, neither does the Directshow filters from xiph.org…
Might I suggest Chihiro put up a page listing to the various codecs they use, or make it a bit easier to find, if they already have one?

just a suggestion…you might need to fix the 1080 version. The timing is way off. The subs come in way behind the audio. Maybe it’s just me, and I can fix the timing for myself on MPC, but please check it. Thanks guys!
Edit: I’ve checked all possible settings (I think) on MPC but it won’t let me put in a negative delay interval on the subs. I guess I’ll have to watch the 720p version!
Timing of the 1020 version is not way off at all, but my 2.5 year old dual core is _just_ not able to cope with the karaoke which slips slightly. The regular text works just fine.
Guess I’ll have to get a quad core soon ;D

Okay. In ANOTHER channel, there was some confusion about if this is season
2 of Shana – no.
There was Shakugan no Shana season 1, 24 eps, Oct 2005 to
March 2006.
An ova, December, 2006.
A film, which was basically a redo of an arc of the 1st season, April, 2007.
Shakugan no Shana Second, 24 eps, oct 2007 to March, 2008.
Then this is Shakugan no Shana S, a five ep ova.
There WILL be a season 3, which will be the third and final installment, but no
idea when or even how many eps it will be. And actually, I think that’s actually
waiting on the finishing up of the light novels or something, of which there are 22.
Or something. Ennywho…lemme stop writing about anime and start watching some!

I personally think 1080 is overrated, then again I say that because I lost my computer to play 1080. Whatever, though this might be an off statement how many people out there actually own a decent size monitor with a 1080 p or 1200p resolution? I personally have one and only one.
