Anyway thanks for the Blu-Rayngun.
Were the OPs and EDs cut out of these videos or is it something on my end? I’m wondering because I had a problem like that some time ago.

Must been on your end – no problem with the OP/ED at my end.
Strange. I tried updating my codecs and it’s still not showing the OP/ED..
The release uses ordered chapters; get the OP/ED from the first torrent.
I already have the individual OP/ED .mkvs from the first blu-ray torrent. Those play correctly for me. The OP/ED won’t show on the actual episodes, though. It just skips them.
If you’re using VLC, it either skips the OP and ED or just keeps repeating the part before the OP, depending on how you have it set up, but for now it can’t correctly play ordered chapters. If you’re using something else, make sure it supports ordered chapters and that there isn’t a setting you need to change.
i dont understand these two files wont play but every other file plays fine
Make sure you have Haali Media Splitter enabled and enable the option to use Ordered Chapters. Sometimes the setting isn’t on.
I got it working. I had to go into the options for HMS and set “Try to open linked files” to yes. Thanks for the help.

The solution to everything: get CCCP. Plays any mkv as it should. And if you’re looking for that little bit more: get CoreAVC. Excellent decoder for h.264.
cccp is too old.
Bleh.. When it switches to the OP/ED, the audio desyncs from the video. Everything I’ve tried hasn’t fixed it yet. 🙁
If you are using CCCP, go into settings and see if FLAC decoding is selected in FFDShow Audio. If so, deselect it, then hit next and apply.
That fixed it. FFDShow Audio had it set so that FLAC was being decoded with libavcodec. Disabling it made it work correctly. Thanks again 😀
