@Sumoki: I was a little put off by the excessive sparklies, friendship speaches and a plot centered around grade schoolers trying to impress their bishi pop idol. For the first time in my life I feel bad watching a t.v. show marketed towards little Japanese girls.

i absolutely love this show. wasn’t sure at first but decided to go head in. im glad you guys picked it up… but then again if it has lolis, Chihiro always picks it up

Plot of this anime: 3 girls wake up to find eggs on their pillows. Egg hatches into MaPets. MJ turns up and tells the girls that they have to make the MaPets fight each other to the death. Everytime a MaPet dies the loli owner dies too. The last MaPet/loli combo standing must marry Wish to save the world. Oh, and Wish is a loli too, and Strange Rabbit is his MaPet.

sage1210: That’s not true. The OVAs (OADs, strictly speaking), are of DVD quality, so they have been consistent throughout the 6 of them.
I just can’t get myself to watch this show… Everytime I see the image associated with a Chihiro Loli Idolmaster episode release, I feel a terrible shock rattle my brain, as if I have been slapped. I feel like there’s something terribly sinister going on here with the art, but it just happens that I’m just not a good enough sleuth to prove anything. Yet. :p
Anyway, enjoy the show people.
