Today, we had a meeting of what to do from here on out. Ultimately, we decided to do what we wanted to without regards to anything else.
Here’s the news you do not want to hear.
1. We are going to drop Shiki. Nobody working on the project cares, or, they hate the project. We’d rather invest our time with other things.
2. We are not going to do TLR 2. Too many people whined and bitched about it over the OVA making it a pain. In addition, the show just is not good.
3. We are not going to do Index II. Most of us would rather watch it than sub it.
We understand that you have your own wants and desires, but please understand we want to use our time in a way that we find fun.
As for Shiki, it was a good try. First drop in a year and half, though. Not too bad of a record. I guess most people suggest other groups to go with… Not having watched any others, I’ll suggest Taka because I think they’re a really nice group. >.>
Now, here is the good news you want to hear.
1. Loli Idolmaster will be continuing on for 51 episodes by all indications. There’s a 2nd OP/ED single on sale, DVDs are sold as 4 episodes a piece (except 1, which is 3), and the site episode counters seem to indicated 4 sets of 13 (or 12).
2. Amagami SS is not dropped, nor will ever be unless Moshi ragequits the group. It involves approximately 3-5 staff members, none of which has any impact on other shows.
3. We will be picking up To Aru Railgun OVA in the fall.
4. We will be picking up Fortune Arterial as a weekly show.
5. Spare time will be used to work on many DVD and BD backlogs we have.
Damn, dropping Shiki are you? 🙁 “cries”, and I thought you did great job with it >_<

I agree that you should use your time to sub what you want. Well maybe sometimes its nice to listen to the public, but mostly – it’s your group and you can sub what you want. Thank you for your hard work, and keep it up! 🙂

Shame that you won’t be doing Index II, but it goes without saying that you should only do shows you want to do. I’m glad you’ll be doing the Railgun OVA though, and I hope it will be the ‘Sisters’ arc from Index.

Meh you got to do what you got to do. But it does kinda suck you are doing TLR2 I surprising got sucked in and enjoyed the first season. Not the best show but it had its moments and its probably all thanks to your guys hard work on it. I know its a bother but do you guys maybe know of another group that might be picking it up? I just hate not finishing a show now matter how bad it is =P

I am fine with this 🙂 There is no reason for you to be wasting your time dealing with Shiki when several other groups are doing it, especially if you don’t like the show. Also, I am sure Index II will be oversubbed anyways.

aww, I had my hopes up for Index II, oh well… The rest though is fine by me, in the end it’s all up to what the group wants to do and shouldn’t have to care about what we demand because in the end, we shouldn’t be demanding anything at all.

bummer about TLR 2. I loved the first season and the ova’s. its a shame that you guys punish everyone based on the efforts of a group of trolls. but its your time, and of course, you have the right to do what you want with it.

Might be more a overly dramatic response to standard complaints than the fault of over-zealous entitlement people. I’m sure other groups get just as much crap but continue with their projects anyway.

you guys are solid, and its better to only keep track of a few shows rather than a bajillion.
Eclipse is most likely to do index 2 and TLR isnt worth the time for quality since its mainly a fanservice anime to begin with.
Shiki is being done by okawari, theyre new but their subs are pretty solid.

I’m not a fan of Shiki cuz that shit just looks ugly, every time I see those hairstyles I want to rage with scissor in the anime, seriously, the person designing it should be hanged !

I gotta say, I found myself rather disappointed in Chihiro’s choices in what to sub. The last full show I watched was Working!!, an excellent job at that. With Shiki dropped, I’m not watching anymore from here currently. The future looks rather dim without Index, all that’s left is the To Aru Railgun OVA. In my mind it seems to be the end of me going to Chihiro. I love your subs though. :<
