Hiya, I’ve been meaning for a while to thank you guys for subbing this show.
I just have something to point out/ sort-of question. In the ED (in at least the previous eps; not sure of this one since I’m still downloading it), but the lyrics go as you translate: “Drink drink drink! Drink drink drink! It’s Portuguese!”. If they mean it’s Portuguese the words, then your translation is wrong. The Portuguese words for Drink is “Bebe” and Drunk is “Bebeu”. On the other hand “Vira” means Turn, as in turn around, and “Virou” is Turned. They all come from the verb “Virar” which also means Turn.
In other words you should have:
Drink should be Turn
Drunk should be Turned
Sorry for being a bother put as a Portuguese it annoys me to see the words mispelled.
foreveroblivion, we talked to a portugese native about it who told us the Vira in some contexts can mean “to drink”. And as this seems to be a song about drinking stuff, it fits better in that context.
wtf are you talking about regarding boobs? they get like 8 years older, in case you haven’t noticed – boobs are part of the package if you go from pre-pubescent to post-pubescent. at least if you are a girl.
They probably want to avoid to hime-chen like the plague when they are ten years from now…
