Awesome, I’m glad you guys are back in the game on this. I’ve been holding off watching Ai’s arc and beyond in hopes that you’d get back to it.

What, you’re thinking that after being stalled for ~10 episodes people are actually gonna watch your releases?
You’ve lost most of your audience already for this show because of massive (over 2 months?) delays.
Everyone who wanted their weekly Amagami SS switched to other speedsubbing groups, so nobody really cares about your releases.
In short – you’re wasting your time with this show, stop being such sore losers.

Although I do think BW was a little harsh, I am inclined to agree with the points made about delays. I don’t think anyone expects this group to have a 24 hour turn around but somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-3 days should be a goal for your group. The “it gets done when it gets done” mentality is not professional and far from indicating a structured group. It’s a good thing you guys do good work :p
I’m not getting Amagami from you all bc your are 10 episodes behind with a huge turn around time per episode. I am however, getting Fortune Arterial (the show with wtf plot :p) but may have to switch groups if the delays start creeping on this one since ep 7 was released on 11/19 : /
If you guys don’t want to sub fast then that cool but maybe think about not doing currently airing shows since most people (not all, but most) like to watch it as it’s released. But you guys are the boss so do whatever works for your group. Just my 2 cents
just saying, but fansubbers aren’t professional. :/ they can do whatever they want, even if that means releasing 10 years after the show finishes airing.

I’ll address most of what you’re saying after this, but “sore loser” is when you lose a game and fail to congratulate the other team, or try and pick out flaws or reasons why they shouldn’t have won. Sore loser is something like if we release a show before somebody else consistently, and they make a post flaming us about our transliteration of the Engrish opening.
Sort of like a softball game. You’re 0-10. A sore loser will complain about biased umpires, and refuse to shake hands. A quitter will disband after going 0-10. A team will continue no matter what.
IZEROII
Our goal always has been 1-3 days. I like getting it out day of. But we don’t always achieve our goals, and as a result, you have something like this. I don’t think we’ve ever had a project that’s “It’s done when it’s done” except Tales of Vesperia. And that was released only like a week or two after it came out on BD.
But the reality is simple – we’re not quitters. In the past 23 months, we’ve dropped 1 show – Shiki. Why? Nobody liked it whatsoever. Sure, we’ve made plans and dropped them, but that’s different from starting something and then saying “meh, we don’t want to do it.” People download us for shows no matter who is subbing it, and how late we are. It’s not fair to force the opinions of others – i.e., that the wait is not worth it, or that one group is better – onto anybody else.
It’s funny that these trolls come to say “You fail at everything you do. No one likes you so stop subbing!” and yet time and time again they return to download Chihiro releases. ‘Biting the hand that feeds you’ much? It’s fine to disapointed with a fansubber’s progress but if you have enough time to complain than you don’t have enough to do in your life.
Also, awesome is right, it is supposed to be ‘zettai ryouiki’. I know my fetishes, thank you very much.
@ BW, and IZEROII- Just to add to what Kristen said we all do this in our spare time. We have jobs, school, and RL in general that takes precedent over subbing anime for you for free. Ideally everything would be out in a day or 2, but things don’t always work out.

I apologize if I offended you Kristen. I do want to reiterate that I do think you and this group do exceptional work. Sometimes I forget that most subbers have all the daily responsibilities we all have. In any case, my bad and thanks for your work.
