The last line in this episode really makes the series for me. At first, I was only watching it for art design being Monty Python/Terry Gilliam-esque, but this has fast become one of my favorite animes this season.

Hey guys, I’m sure this is just a bug with PS3 Media Server but I wanted to bring it up just in case. When I started to stream the episode to my PS3 no subtitles came up and I had to go in to the manual settings and enable the subtitles (they were labeled as “Finnish”, which is not among my list of subs to automatically play back). When I loaded the video up in VLC however it played normally and listed the subs as Japanese.
Anyway I’m glad I stuck with you guys, CHIHIRO TO THE END!~
Just caught up to episode 8… damn! All the fluffy pics you see for this show totally throws a person off to the true nature of its dark theme. Love it!
Reminds me of a cross between Le Portrait de Petite Cossette and Pandora Hearts. I really like the crazy reality marbles, so different from any other anime.
Sayaka’s been my fav since the first ep, she kinda reminded me a bit of Ritsu. 😉

I was just giving him an advice, based on my experience of how much some people on the internet like to make fun of others just because they don’t know something they do. I was NOT trying to be an ass. If that was how you perceived it, then I think maybe you need to work on your cognitive abilities. Or, well, maybe you were just irritated because of the pain, and that was what caused you to read it that way. 😉
