So I can either go on and on about the story of picking this up, or I can just post it.
One detail you might want to know is that this is a bit more localized than we normally do it, because it takes place in what is essentially France. Oh, and it is an original translation, not the CR one.
Shout out to everyone for their hard work on this series to date. We weren’t going to release it until it was up to date, hence why it’s released at 9. 10 either airs later today or Friday. Not sure.

It’s something we did for shits and giggles because the anime is supposed to be French(-ish).

Thank you. At first I tried watching UTW’s but their releases cause what I describe as “tiny stalls” (mostly when subtitles will be rendered) on my PC. With a bit of luck these will work fine.

ar explained how to fix that back in their Gosick 5 release. It fixes that particular problem regardless of who releases what as it’s not related any one group; it’s a codec issue.
I also summed it up in the Madoka 9 release if you’re interested.

Oh dear GOD have mercy on my soul…I’m loving the show but HATING the Main Male lead, Kujou Kazuya. How much of a BAKAMONO can one man BE? Forget the fact that he’s always near those at the scene of the crime, but the fact that he has this thickheadedness to him, it just drives me NUTS. Seriously! This boy knows NOTHING of naivete or subtlety; this coming from me may not be much, but if I’M making a fuss over it it’s pretty big.

Was a bit worried about the “more localized” comment, like watching a certain sub group’s Ore no Imouto choosing to call Kuroneko, Black Cat. But after watching it, I would say it’s a fitting choice for the series’ location. Would be weird to read subs about a bunch of Europeans saying things in Japanese. Glad yall snagged this series.
It’s too bad so many folks refuse to acknowledge the fact that Crunchy actually have gotten their shit together and pump out some pretty damn good subs nowadays.

Thx for the effort Chihiro but… I’m following French subbers for this one (I am indeed French Canadian) which is much more fitting than English for this anime because of the setting. For exemple, in ep.8, Kujo gave a note to Véronica and it was written in French. So French subs for me. Still thumb up for doing this, I love it so far!
…Really people that speaks or understand French should definetely watch this with French subs.

So you’re basicly saying that whenever we see a japanese note in an anime or if an anime takes place in Japan, we should start reading Japanese subs. Makes sense.
