I think a lot of western viewers disliked the show but its popularity amongst the Japanese crowd is the only factor that will decide whether or not this series gets a second season.

Well, I thought it would get some development… but mah…
Girls cat fighting over a guy:
First it was Shirayuki vs Aria (vs. Riko)
Then somehow Shirayuki got “cut out” and so it finally was Riko vs. Aria
A protagonist who only gets things done if he is horny…
I don’t know but the stupidity increased steadily
At least I wouldn’t watch a second season..
Btw is the manga better?! Sometimes the anime is just for “advertising”… E.g. Rosario to Vampire… the anime was just pure nonsense whereas the manga was the complete opposite… with story, character development and so on..

The light novels were much better. For some reason the anime mainly focused on the ecchi stuff rather than the story and changed some of the details. There’s also a reason Shirayuki had to leave, but that was almost entirely cut out.
okay so was it just me or was there a lot of hype over this and then it really wasnt as good as everyone thought it would be? i was expecting something like toradora with plot depth and more episodes, but the way they did it…it just…sucked.
I was wondering is episode 12 not supposed to have ordered chapters? (example: pressing next chapter doesnt take me to the episode or ending), while the other 11 episode do have them.
None of the episodes use ordered chapters. They may have a chapter file added if Kristen had originally planned to use ordered chapters then decided not to, and that’s what’s allowing you to skip from the OP to the episode, then to the ED. I couldn’t say for sure.
Oh, then does that mean episode 12 is suppose to not have a chapter file. Since, I can’t skip from OP to episode, then to ED, while the other 11 can do the skipping.
My guess would be she originally intended to use ordered chapters, but realized the file size for the OP, and ED weren’t enough to make it worth the effort. She then muxed in the chapter file that designates where the OP, and ED should go out of habit, and continued to do so for 11 episodes. On the 12th she either forgot to do it, or realized there was no point, and thus didn’t for that one.
This is all speculation of course since she’s been asleep both times I noticed your questions, so I haven’t actually been able to ask her about it. Regardless there’s nothing “wrong” with any of the files. Just some of them have an attachment that’s not really needed, but causes no harm.
I see, I thought that there might be something wrong with my player or the file. But if Kristen forgot it or didn’t do it, thats fine. I still enjoy your group’s work.
If Kristen could have answered or have been contacted, that would have been great. But all of this was just out of curiousity, since ep. 12 was different from the others. But, since she is sleeping I guess she deserves it, since you guys sub shows without really asking for anything in return and are using your own free time to do this.
As for the attachment you spoke of, how would I know if a file has this attachment or not? Sorry if this question is imposing too much on you or anything, but this sounds interesting and I am curious to learn about this.
Anyways, sorry for the long post and thank you Fanofde4ever. Hopefully, Kristen can come by and clear this up. Also, I look forward to all of your releases.
I believe the only way to know would be to download MKVExtractGUI, and separate the file into all it’s parts (video, audio, subs, fonts, and chapters). I’ve never had a reason to separate a file for that particular purpose before though.
Oh, I see. I thought it was something easy like downlaoding something and then I just right-click the file and go Properties and then media or something. But thanks again Fanofde4ever for expaining how to view the chapter files, but I don’t think I will separate a file for just seeing if a file has that attachment.
