I am currently looking for photographers who will attend Comiket 80 and be able to spare some time during any of the three days to take pictures at the commercial exhibitors’ area. Specifically, I will need pictures of the Aquaplus (Leaf) booth (No.441 at the West Hall 4th Floor).
The pictures will need to be released under Creative Commons Attribution or Attribution-ShareAlike, and may be uploaded to Flickr or Picasa (under one of the said licenses). Please leave a comment if interested.
I might be there, but I’ll probably be too busy being lost, confused, and wishing I knew Japanese to be able to assist in your quest.
Incidentally, anyone attending C80 mind me tagging along?
Be sure to print/cut out your catalog maps and plan where to go prior to going there. There is also an International desk somewhere if you really do need help in English. Also, as a half-serious advice, wear diapers.

Leaf/Aquaplus is the original creator of To Heart, To Heart 2, Utawarerumono, Comic Party, and Tears to Tiara.
Ah, Utawarerumono….loved the anime, and loved the viusla novel even more. ^^ So like, um, mind telling us WHY you need pictures of Leaf’s booth? :-/

i too would love to tag along with you. i downloaded the comiket catalog via nyaa, and… well in japanese! no english version. i feel like im gonna get lost. been a month since i arrived in japan and havent made much otaku friends.
i:ll try to get to the booth. i don have a phone yet, nor a camera. but if some friends join me, i:ll be sure to take lots of pictures.
I know that this may seem a selfish request from a complete stranger, but I would appreciate it beyond bounds if someone capable of understanding the catalog could tell me where the ‘Ricotta’ and ‘Studio KIMIGABUCHI’ booths are in the Comicket.
I will be attending on both the 13 and 14th ill be taking tons of pictures, and i’ll keep my eye out and take more pics if i can of the booth.
@Gothick, the catalog will ALWAYS be in japanese, and i doubt some1 will have enough time to translate such a think book/catalog for english and/or another language, if you guys think u might get lost just remember that if your visiting tokyo/japan just for convention, ask around and goto any nearby “train station” they almost 90% of the time have a “english” button (^_^) in the upper left or right of the ticket screen, just make sure you purchase either to the odaiba line or for me im taking the “kokusaitenjijoseimon” exit, and from there u can prety much see the “tokyo big sight” =p and walk/navigate your way from there.

I was at C80 past August
The commercial booth area has a big sign saying no photography (including videos) are allowed.
But I saw some tourists using cellphone to snap pics.
Commercial booth area was much better since it wasn’t really overcrowded during the morning (most people are in the E and W halls buying doujin shi/music/ware
Afternoon when the cosplayers storms in to the area right outside of the commercial booth, then it becomes hectic……….
I had a bad experience at C80 mainly because Tokyo Big Sight was WAY TOO CHEAP to turn on the air conditioner and the flat escalators.
It was very hot in the Tokyo Big Sight, and the lack of chairs and vending machines all sold out of pocari sweat makes it even worse……
Next time I will forget NatsuComi and just go straight to FuyuComi…
There was this very funny cosplayer at C80 3rd last day who was a man wore a fat balloon and have red balloon lips…. Many bypassers was LOL including me. Many took pics too….
