  I’m liking the show a lot so far. Rather than follow the Hollywood route for this kind of story where you have some dickish male who is forced into taking care of obnoxious kids but eventually grows to like them; the protagonist in Usagi Drop, while somewhat inept at dealing with the needs of his new child, was kind from the start and was spurred into action by the indifference of those around him. It’s refreshing to have a story about someone who gives a damn because no one else will.
