This show would’ve been a lot better as 6 50-minute episodes. Episode 1, Episode 2-3, Episode 5-8, Episode 10-12, New content, New content.

To be honest on the very first episode i didnt realize it lasted actually 40ish minutes (2 eps) until i finished watching said ep and looked at the episode length in the player lmao. So i guess doesnt make that much diference xD
Anyhow 40min eps or not, i really like this anime, a friend of mine says this anime is somewhat common, average and stuff. To me is the other way around, with each ep is more interesting, but maybe perhaps above all that i like about this anime is the characters and the setting that it uses.
And darn it been waiting this ep!!! xDDD
Thanks a lot for the release Chihiro!
Honestly, I felt the first episode was great – best of series to 9. It really pepped me up for the rest of the show. And the whole Thai girl could’ve been good, but the week break made it hard to follow. The sash episode could’ve been thrown out. 5-8, however, were far too spread out. Hardly anything happened in each episode, and a lot of the slower/duller parts could’ve been condensed into a single good 50 minute story.
I would agree that this show would have been better if it each episode were longer and expanded on certain parts while condensing the lesser parts. Not saying that this series is at all bad; I very much enjoy it. Can’t wait till episode 10. Probably most interesting besides the first one.
The alternative would be to lengthen it to 60 minutes, split it into two episodes and double the number of episodes. I think if they had more confidence in the story, they could have done that easily.
Is this anyhow related to WGOK?
@Ksa:
If you mean The World God Only Knows (Kami nomi zo shiru sekai), then no. This is a different series.

I agree the episodes are too uneventful to be split up into two episodes. Shows like Darker Than Black handled two episode arks better with a character/setting establishing episode followed by the action and conclusion episode formula.
I take issue with this show because there is nothing interesting about the main character, who is used merely as a view piece for more interesting characters and events. Having an everyman for your main character doesn’t mean they have to be utterly unremarkable. Alice talking cryptically about the dead interacting with the living, or whatever, seems to be shallow justification for the anime’s title rather than actually meaning anything.
Some episodes were fun to watch but ultimately Kamisama Memo Chou is forgettable. (Not that I don’t appreciate Chihiro’s work, mind you. Moar Kamisama Dolls plz k thx? :D)
@HeavenlyArmed:
Thank you for pointing that out. I’ll note it down.
