I was surprised when I found that you guys were doing Smile,
and more because I was ignored time ago when I recommended you Fresh Precure. XDDD

you may want to increase your presence in the precure LJ community, as new rules have come into force there that mean people can’t post links to your releases if they’re not appointed by you guys.
The community is open to new groups and i know some people already use you guys for smile, but a little more awareness can’t hurt and there are guys that can help with distro too
I kind of like the fact that they can only use their ‘super attack’ only once per transformation and they get tired after each use. It actually gives them a reason to not use their ‘final attack’ right from the get go as missing would be disastrous. Unlike the other Precure series where there doesn’t seem to be any negative effect or drawback to using their ‘super attack’.
Interestingly enough, did the character designers for Heartcatch return for Smile? I’m sure that they re-used some designs, especially with the students. The second art student was pretty much a dead ringer for Tsubomi, albeit with shorter twin tails.
I also like how everyone has an elemental power except Cure Happy.

Well, that’s one problem with ordered chapters, you need to be vigilant when it comes to those sneaky changing OP/EDs.
Yeah, the OP didn’t change. It was simply completed by the studio. Episode 4 and beyond I expect to all have that rainbow instead of the blue starry backdrop. I’ll update it in maybe a few episodes if my theory is correct.
If they don’t, that change is more minor than the credits (which, btw, change every episode). The benefits of the OCs would still vastly outweigh the 5 seconds of rainbows you’d get to see.
