  mmm .. I think that competent group refers to Chihiro ^^;

  but if you really want to compare with the other group, I suggest trying evetaku’s release (they have no BD though)

  I did some screenshots comparison between commie BD 720 & Chihiro BD 1080:

  Chihiro looks much better (sharper), so chihiro is the way to go for me. 🙂
