No idea but our Spring plans were (still are) in the irc topic for weeks and since some of our staffs are in both groups, it wasn’t a secret and wasn’t intentional.
No no, I know, I’m just saying it’s clear you guys have similar tastes (and I don’t mean that as a bad thing either) is all. 😀

We only do original TLs for shows that weren’t licensed or were badly TLed by CR/Funi. But they also have to be on our wish list.
Fansub groups are not paid for doing this. It takes time and effort editing/encoding even with CR subs. I for one, appreciate the work done by groups such as Chihiro. Thank you!
CR subs not necessary bad. Companies such as CR paid for the license. That helps kept the anime studios going to produce quality anime for the fans.
