Why drop Sailor moon 🙁
Lack of motivation, not being able to get new timers, other shows/backlogs/BDs might get the same fate. I’m fed up of asking timers to join us.
Will you TL OVA?

It’s sad to hear that your dropping Sailor Moon Crystal I preferred Chihiro’s subs out of all the sub groups doing the show but I guess I will have to switch to Commie now 🙁
I loved that you included trivia in the Sailor Moon Crystal and the translations remembered me of when I saw the original dubbed series as a kid. And that you also translated more signs than commie could even be bothered with.
If I was a fast timer I would help in an instant but sadly I’m not. I till try and spread the word that you need timers.
None of the other sub groups you have worked with wanted to help out with timing?

We would recommend you to go with SMC (Sailor Moon Center).

I’m experienced international subber.
I can timing/ts OVA (cuz I like this series), if you have translator for it.
After your suggestion I got compared the scripts of Commie and SMC and using episode 5, 6 and 10 as an example.
SMC (Sailor Moon Center) basically has the same subs (ignoring the opening and ending songs) that they ripped from commie keeping the same styles as commie version and even the exact same comments next to some lines in the script, some taken out. There are some script changes but you may hardy notice them.
E.g. Commie would call it Legendary Silver Crystal?! while SMC would change it to Phantom Silver Crystal?!
Then try Doki.
Dude, simple go with Commie.
You won’t find better script.
@Gary, why else would I say “guess I will have to switch to Commie now” in my first comment about Chihiro dropping the show.
It’s not like I’m an idiot, I do the research before picking a sub group to follow for a series. Dark_Sage on Crymore can help with a decision but seriously you should look for yourself before taking his full word and opinion.
I personally wanting Chihiro to continue this series, they make a great trivia there, like Oppai said picking the great fansub are not easy especially for this one :3 or is there any problem to not to pick chihiro?
I’m sure somewhere along the line you guys will release the Chaika OVA right.
