The only exception being some species (not all of them) of tigers, which actually love water (they actively jump into it and play around in it together with other family members), strangely enough.

I know sometimes housecats are mesmerized by sinks, whether there’s water or not.
Incidentally, housecats with white fur and blue eyes will always be deaf.
