What are the symptoms of scurvy? I think I’m getting scurvy.
That’s a fairly random comment, but anyway, from a simple Google search…:
“Scurvy is a disease resulting from a lack of vitamin C. Early symptoms include weakness, feeling tired, and sore arms and legs. Without treatment, decreased red blood cells, gum disease, changes to hair, and bleeding from the skin may occur.”
It’s not that random when you consider food items that are a good natural source for vitamin C 😉

As you said, the cause of scurvy is a lack of vitamin C. Citrus fruits (e.g. lemons) are known to contain a high amount of it. PaleBlue jokingly worried about getting scurvy, because Chihiro haven’t released an episode of the anime Citrus in a while…
The joke would have been even better, if PaleBlue had waited a few more days before posting it, because it takes at least a month of little to no vitamin C before early symptoms of scurvy occur.

It’s all good 🙂 I’ve been so busy lately that I’m way WAY behind on my anime watching, so I probably wouldn’t have gotten around to watching this even if you’d released it. I’m thankful for joke.ruiner for explaining my joke though, I didn’t really want to do that myself.

Yes, they are. The team working on it had exams those last 3 weeks but now they’re over.
Did they flunk and had to redo their exams?
