Yeah, I’m studying Japanese in Tokyo atm, and I made a wordpress blog (which I barely ever use lol) about my life over here, and since changing my avatar on one site that uses wordpress changes it everywhere, well…I don’t want to use an anime picture on my blog, and I don’t want to use a real picture of myself here or on Doki etc, so I opted for the middle ground, and just went with a Sakura tree. 😛
I see. Good luck with your studies! Yeah, I can imagine, using an anime avatar in other places attracts attention that’s best not had.
