We know that all BDs are 1080p native, and the only reason why encoders ever do 720p only is out of laziness, after all, and not because 1080p would just be a waste of space. tl;dr: 1080p is an upscale, we’re only doing 720p. So, it’s 12/25 in EST now. As I’m EST, that means it’s Christmas! Of course, when this is published I’ll be a good little girl sleeping in my bed so Santa visits me, but even so… So are we giving you a gift? We already gave you it – in the form of at least 1 release every day EST since 12/01 (Note – our blog is in France, so some releases show as the next day). Now, for a gift for me? I’d like a TLC who doesn’t disappear 2 weeks after being hired, I suppose. Oh, that reminds me about next season. We have our shows picked out, but aren’t announcing them until we release episode 1. lilpri 40-51 will be one, though.
