So here’s the (extremely) delayed Zettai Karen Children Batch 2.
This is a full on re-do with episodes re-edited, episodes 14-22 re-encoded to the right frame rate, karaoke/translations added for songs, and the style used in the other episodes applied. So the pink font of death is officially and finally dead.
We’re also release the XviD batch in full, because no further adjustments are going to made there.
We are going to still be making a few adjustments for episodes 27-51, such as a re-encode of 27, 29, and 40,
as well as script fixes for h.264. But these are going to be much lighter and easier.
You want the 27-39 batch? Well, just think about how much you asked about batch 2 (a ton).
And think about how much faster it got out because of your inquiries (delayed 5 months).
Okay, okay, you guys got us. April fools! We’re not actually doing Jewelpet Twinkle. We took advantage of Kusion’s karaoke obsession to frame our April Fool’s joke.
As you can see below, Kusion and crew are still kicking back in the Karaoke App of Subbing Doom. It’s not looking so good for Angel Beats, K-on and Working…
Hi, this is CyberMirage. I haven’t posted before, but the current situation is a bit… odd…
Long story short, a day or two ago, Kusion found out about a program that functions as an internet karaoke box. A bunch of the staff, myself included, proceeded to check it out. It was pretty fun, but after a while most of us got bored and left.
Fast forward to today. No work has been done since the batches of Shugo Chara and Railgun. Asu no Yoichi was released because it was completed by a member of the staff that had not been exposed to the program. Meanwhile, Kusion and the group that didn’t quit from boredom are still using the karaoke program and refuse to stop. Even offers of nude pictures of Kristen haven’t convinced them to get back to work.
So what does this mean for the group? Well, because the bulk of the staff refuses to stop singing, we don’t know how soon we’ll be able to release the shows that we announced. The remaining staff will be working on Jewelpet Twinkle in the meantime. Why? Because Kristen took advantage of the remaining staffs’ weakness to a crying loli… ¬_¬;
So, we’re done! At least with 75% of the winter season, the stuff we actually kept the pace with.
Wanted to release these batches together just to use that picture, so… Here ya go. :p
Notes on releases:
1. Railgun contains a v2 for episode 16 to consistacize (that is SO not a word) with the other episodes.
2. We’ll do Railgun BDs when a certain magical Path finishes editing them.
3. With Shugo Chara’s end we have decided to pick up a 4th show. That makes our shows Working, K-On, Angel Beats, and this show. You won’t guess it, so don’t bother.
4. We won’t do SC DVDs.
5. Kusion wants you all to gaze at this image that he thinks should’ve been the blog pic.
6. Big thanks to EVERYONE that made these series possible.
7. Vampire Bund is in srsbsn mode this week.
8. By the way, entering this season we were 15 episodes behind. Right now, we have 8. That means we have subbed 7 more episodes than aired in Japan this season. 😮 (Total for this season is 58 subbed episodes as of today.)
Just a little preview to one of our spring shows. Before you ask, the actual series will use AAC audio, not AC3. And this is considered “PV8” by the official website.
Big thanks to Cyber and Niphty for making this PV happen.
Here’s a batch of the prelude to K-On S2, K-On goes to war. Whole bunch of notes.
1. All files have been tweaked to match things learned later, such as Filicia is spelled Filicia and not Felicia. Also, any mistakes have been fixed.
2. Episodes 1 and 2 have been re-encoded and remuxed onto Blu-Ray with AAC audio.
3. Yes, we will do the Blu-Rays. They should come at a fairly consistent pace if they are still uploaded, as we do not have to do any more script modifications.
3a. We will do the Blu-Ray only episodes too.
4. Scripts can be found here. We will not do patches since that’s a bit of effort on our part, but at least you can remux yourself if you’d rather not download 5 GB.
