So, the other day, Maun posted the wrong screenshot on a post about weighted P-frames. It turns out the screenshot is related to some testing I’ve been doing (by coincidence). Basically it goes like this:

If you are using Media Player Classic (which you should be if you’re on Windows), make sure you are using Haali’s Renderer. You can check by going to View->Options in MPC and going to the section shown in the screenshot below:

Haali’s Renderer will give you the best quality, trust me.

Edit: I read that if you have an old video card, you can’t use Haali’s Renderer. In that case, sucks to be you. You could choose between Overlay Mixer, which has good quality but won’t let you take screenshots in MPC, or EVR, which has jaggy edges on areas with sharp color differences (esp. red).

 
I was informed today that there was going to be a 3rd sequel of Ikkitousen entitled Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor, IXX for short. As promised like a year ago in multiple places, this is going to be subbed here. I’m not sure of any of the details yet, but it’s going to happen. I don’t care what people say. >.> (And yes, I like it for the plot, believe it or not.)

To do that, as well as make it through our present season and next, I believe we will need help in the following positions:

Translators/TLC – We need some reliable people to be available to help out with various OVAs and possibly to fill in for problems that arise at times.

Editors – We do not need help at this position at this moment in time.

QC – We do not need help at this position at this moment in time.

Typesetter – We need some people to do some simple shows to help me have less work in general.

Encoder – Looking for one person who knows how to use share and knows how to encode Blu-Ray.

Timer – We need somebody so that we can time at various points in the day instead of relying on one person.

Happy Thanksgiving! In other words, happy Turkey Genocide day! Every year, we have a split of favorite foods on holiday. On Christmas it’s either Duck, Ham, or Turkey. 4th of July it’s Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, which are made from various animals to begin with. Halloween is candy, aka, plants. But on Thanksgiving, everyone has turkey. It’s unfair for them to be singled out and killed in a ritual genocide. Please join me in my protest today and have pizza or ham instead!
