In reality, I was playing around with Tweak this morning and found out that if you make sat=0, it becomes black and white, and thought it would be fun to encode that way. Regular encode is out too for those who don’t want to have fun.

Where are the XviD for Skip Beat! ep 02 ‘n’ 03? I have been waiting like forever now since you released H.264 … my computer can’t handle that format when its not in 400×700 so i’m currently crying my eyes out and also come in here like 3 times everyday to see if you have encoded it? We of the old Computer society demands some answers for your tardiness or at least an apology!
You are freaking lucky that when that was posted, I was in a fairly good mood. I’m addressing everyone at once. You have absolutely NO RIGHT AT ALL to demand ANYTHING from us, be it an apology, answers, episodes, shows, or formats. You’re paying NOTHING for this. We’re under no obligation to do anything for you at all. So you have no right to demand. If I wasn’t in a good mood at that time, I would have probably just said “Screw XviDs from now on” and everyone with an old computer would have to suffer.
Come on. If you’re that desperate to see the episode, watch it streaming somewhere.
Now, onto other things. We’re working on both Quartet and RV as we speak. Quartet this week will be released in 3 formats instead of 2. Well, 2 formats, but one will have two different types. Why? It’s for a little bit of fun on my part. Skip Beat finally is XviD encoded (that 02 encode took 4 hours alone), and will be ULing as soon as I get some wireless time. After then, we should have everything but ZKC caught up. But that’s just timing and encoding left right now, so it should be out soon.
It’s so nice, being that we don’t have to catch up on series anymore. As such, we were able to finish subbing this in a little over 24 hours after the Chinese sub we wanted came out. Yay~
It’s also nice that nothing new is added on during the times of Tuesday-Wednesday. It allows us to concentrate on other stuff. For instance, ZKC is likely going to come out soon. ef is likely to come out soon. Chaos;Head is probably within 48 hours of release. It’s so nice~

Also, somebody asked a status of the TLR WS’s. They’re encoding, and have been for a couple of days now. Be patient. For SB and Quartet ULs, I know. Give me 3 hours on a wireless and they’ll be up. But for now, I’m not on wireless, nor do I see myself getting to be until tomorrow.

So, we’ve caught up, and shouldn’t have delays on ZKC again. We intentionally delayed the TL of this episode because the TL on this is the same as Kono Aozora. We wanted to get that out of the way to have a clear path for his ZKC TL instead of trying to force them together and possibly fall behind for 3 weeks in a row.
From this point on, I think we’ll be aiming for Wednesday releases with this. Enjoy it. 🙂

After some careful thought and deliberation, we have decided to undrop Chaos;Head and add it on as a quality sub. We will be jointing with Anime-Share Fansubs. There is no time restriction on this, as we will not be sacrificing any step or taking any shortcuts to release this faster.
We will be using the conventions used by the translation team at #[email protected]. We have both a translator and a QCer who originally were with that project helping us out on this.
And if you are going to complain “oversubbing,” fine. Complain all you want. We’re subbing this because we want to.
