I think we’re a bit early with this today, since I woke up extra early, and forced everyone else working on this project to wake up even earlier! 😀 Last week, without Kristen, things were kinda out of order, but this one’s right on track! Yay! Anyway, this episode is really heating things up! It’s coming right along with the manga, for those of you who’ve read it, but it’s nice to hear some awesome voice actresses do the voicing for these babes. FINALLY done. Sorry for the long delay. Our translator had computer issues, and this episode had too much babel language for an easy J->E TL. But, it is our first Ikki that is strictly J->E, if that makes a difference. The World Destruction script is ready. We’re just waiting for the encoder to get back from his work, and then it’s just a simple mux/release. I am aware of the C&D letters going around about Sekirei. We will still torrent it. For Zettai Karen Children, I told you not to expect anything fast, and I am still saying that. We have higher priorities right now that we’re trying to get out of the way. Apologies for the delay. The translator who was supposed to do it had his computer die on him the first day he could TL it, so we were left without a TLer. We’re trying to get this done soon, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be done until tomorrow morning Eastern Standard Time. We’re putting up a status thread because we’ve delayed too long to not. In other news, thank you to all of the donators this month! We hit our goal this morning, so we’re set for the month! A server is on the way, just waiting on PayPal to process. Also, World Destruction is moving along smoothly and should be out tomorrow as well, with any luck. Yay, I’m finally back! Looks like the site is here, so that’s always a good sign. I guess at this point, we should probably take you our of the dark on a few things, and also look for some feedback from you. Over the past season, we’ve been doing some experiments with things. We tried quality, but that was a failure. We tried TLC, and that has actually worked very well. We tried muxing on servers, and that also worked really well. We’ve also tried working with multiple translators, and I have to say, I think we are all much less stressed with that. So, I guess I should announce our plans. Right now, we’re working on the projects that we’ve released, and will continue to so long as we have the staff to do so, until the end of the season. That is World Destruction, Sekirei, To Love Ru, Penguin Musume, and Ikkitousen. For the fall, our plans right now are EF, and Vampire Knight. We may be looking with a joint with ASF on something else too. But, anyways, now that we’ve answered a few of your questions, I’d like for you to answer a few of ours. Namely, what are your thoughts on Chihiro? Are we a benefit to you, or a detriment? This is your chance to talk back to us about series you like, what you think we should sub, how we should sub, etc. Don’t miss your chance. XD
Okay, so here’s the long awaited World Destruction 05! I had to fill in for our usual translator on this project, but I couldn’t translate the episode until two days after it came out in Japan. I had a trip planned to Hong Kong on Tuesday, and I couldn’t change the date since my visa into China is about to expire. 🙂 That’s the reason why this is so late. Hard to fit an ep into a busy schedule once the scheduling is off. The the two images above are for the World Destruction game out on DS in September. I’m interested in playing it (Japanese only), since Kyrie looks so much more badass. The first image says: “If you just wait, nothing will happen. In your hands, the world can change. So… I’ll confess. Once the TL was finished for this ep of Seki, I went out to practice drumming for an hour, then went to dinner and watched the entire Men’s soccer match between China and New Zealand (being in China, drinking beer, and cheering for my home country’s team is a pretty awesome experience, even though my home is in the U.S.). So, we happened to be just a *tad* bit late on this. For that, I apologize. This ep is definitely my favorite so far. Tsukiumi is so tsun tsun dere dere she makes my loins quiver in need for her. She also has a pretty sexy way of talking. <3 Archaic language. I hope Kristen won’t eat me alive for my graphic language. But you guys know her.
