So unfortunately there won’t be Blu-rays for this series. The Blu-ray is one of the worst I’ve ever seen with fully blended fields after IVTC. Fixing them would make a result worse than the web source, so we just took the BD audio, FLACed it, and muxed it in with the web source instead. Files also got some TS upgrades and modernizations. Only 720p as that’s all we ever released for this series.
Of the 14 shows I mentioned besides NGNL (which is not my responsibility) in https://chihiro-subs.com/2022/03/18/monster-musume-no-iru-nichijou-blu-ray-batch/ which did not receive a BD batch, this was by far the easiest. It simply needed a sign tracked in 01 and some blur in 03, so they got v2’d. Rest were already done. All credit is to the original people who worked on this. 5 BD backlogs from the October 2013 to November 2020 era to go!

I am part of the 3% who think Kurumi is the best Testament girl, so you get a Kurumi batch pic. Departures is in our future plans but like all things, it’s a marathon to get through these backlogs, not a sprint.
It’s a shame that the only difference between the S1 and S2 titles is an additional “!”. Anyways, here’s our “second” project of the season – S1 being the first. Staff is the same as S1, except wester ktimed the ED. This is higher priority than S1. Heads up: While episode 02 will likely release on time, 03 will likely experience about a 2 week delay and 04 a 1 week delay due to a planned vacation. |
