/me forgets to write titles a lot
I think this is what most of us are feeling about World Destruction… At least, I am. It’s not the most interesting series to me.
And yes, we’re not first to release, but it’s not like we’re competing with the other groups anymore. I think we’re actually a day earlier than last week. Going to try to get another day back next week.
EDIT because some people don’t understand: Do we care about releasing this? YES. Do we want to get it to you as fast as possible? YES. Did we get it to you as fast as possible this week? YES. I can’t believe that some people find it appropriate to yell at us because we were slower than normal with other shows and stuff.
Few info points:
1. DDL is taken down because so many people were using it we couldn’t use bots or FTP. We may look at getting a second server so we can have one for DDL, one for torrenting/bots/FTP. Or we may need to limit connections more.
2. To Love Ru 23 is HARD. Almost the entire show is in archaic Japanese. At this point, we’re about 40% translated, but I would not expect it until AT LEAST tomorrow night. But we are all encoded before a raw has even released! ^_^

Josh… We care about speed and got it out as quickly as possible. Our translator took a while to translate it, and that was what our delay was… I never said I didn’t care about it. I don’t have to like a series to care about releasing it.
As a random person who watches your releases weekly, I deeply appreciate all the work you guys at Chihiro do. I frankly don’t see what people can complain about. You release them when you release them. No sooner, no later. It’s not like you’re charging people per episode or anything. You’re a bunch of anime-loving people who release anime for other anime-loving people. But yeah, before I keep rambling, just remember to ignore the peanut gallery. You guys rock.

Thank you for the release! Arigatou-kuma! I frankly don’t care too much about how late episodes come out, as long as they, ugh, come out. Please keep working on World Destruction, as Miyano Mamoru is one of my respected seiyuu’s, I’m determined to finish watching this series.

fansubbing takes a lot of time. and our lifes consist of much, much more than just “studying japanese/fansubbing anime”. just studying a foreign language, right, because its so simple. >.>
we all have jobs, families, school, university, and other things that we like to spend our time doing. if youre such a shitty leecher go watch naruto or bleach fillers, because that level of fail is all you deserve.
if you think its so damn easy then sub your own damn anime and get it as fast as you want it. no more having to wait for other groups, no more being a whiny bitch trolling people who are providing a free handout to you. fucking ungrateful prick.

You guys are subbing for free, u guys cant take these complaints seriously. Your releases are quick, the subs are decent, and best of all your releasing all my favorite shows.
Unlike some fan subbers, for example minor ja nai, they take months just to finish up one eps of major. Thats something to complain about when people are donating.
Hello, not one to usually post here, however I have to say thank you for all of your hard work. I’ve been coming by here since the start of this summer season actually and you’re probably one of the quickest groups I’ve seen. Again, thank you for your hard work and for the episode!
PS. I actually really enjoy World Destruction haha, not entirely sure why but I find it interesting and a change of pace.

Who tells fansubers they don’t have a life when you are whining like a little baby because your precious little fansub isn’t out exactly when you think it should be. Yah you are the one who needs to get a life. And Yurrisan was told by funimation to stop subbing nabari no ou so they are going to be behind it because they don’t sub it anymore.
You guys are awesome!!! I don’t care what other people may rant at or about ya’ll for. Your work is as good or better than the rest. I love the series ya’ll have worked on, ALL of them. If it takes a little while longer than you thought, then that’s how long it took and the episode is better for it! Take your time and get it right and you don’t have to do it over. This isn’t government work, you have the time to do it right the first go around. The thing is faster isn’t always better. Love your work and will always be a fan.

First of all i used to work on a fansub, won’t say what fansub was, but all i can say it was fast as fuck =)

If you have a family/friends/ect, then as easy as stop subbing (((or whatever you do……. if you do something *rofl*))), and if you want to go on subbing/ then sub for yourself and don’t release them, because releasing them means a big compromise with the fans, such as me, and other people (Let’s put apart that the people posting above me are all ass kissers, yes, there is people that don’t care about speed, and prefers quality, but i don’t think you guys are good enough to be a quality subs, because it means RAWS in HD/Excellent Grammar (Which i don’t have myself but oh well).
Everything must be perfect, what makes me still love and respect chihiro is The speed, And if you guys lose it, then it just becomes another average Fan Sub Group.
Once again, we might have different opinions and i don’t want to be the troll here, But to me Fansub means having Enough time or at least a good Schedule to start working.

Spanicsfansubs are the worst. they steal the work for english fansubbers..
You might say it’s actually good, because they can bring anime to Spanic communitys, However they never give Credit and they think they made all the job,

Now that’s another point that pisses me which i already discussed on my latest comments, however once again before getting flamed, and ask how do i know all of this is because i know spanish. and i have been researching and stuff,
Besides, around 1 year ago i made a small test, a small english fansub group was doin some random project, and i looked all over for the spanish version. They ware around the same episodes

Spanish Fansub 11
Suddenly the english fansub (Which i don’t remember the name) dropped the project, and after a
few days the spanish fansub released the episode 12, everything normal till this point, but 1 month later i checked the spanishfansub again and nothing.. i checked all over the forum and “The staff” say the hadn’t release ep 13 yet because they had some problems, ect, they started to make excuses… and like 2 months later when another english fansub continued with the project, the spanish fansub did too…
This wasn’t my only test… but i don’t have enough time. so let’s make this quick with another exemple
Aniyoshi is taking his fuxing time to sub alliston to lilia (it’s already 6 weeks late i think)
Now, this is the only fansub doing this project, So far they have 16 ep’s
now go and google

Lawlz I had no idea the spanish subs were thieves, but honestly they can’t steal something thats not officially owned by that group. Its not like anyone besides DB holds a copywright over there fan-subs, so to say they stole it is a strong statement. I would prefer to say they copied other groups because maybe they are incompetent and just cant do much for themselves. Or maybe there lazy. Anywayz Its a cheap way to provide subs. Maybe you should expose them but I doubt even if you did it would stop them.

Because asd thinks the internets are indeed serious business. As he himself said, he’s not got much going on in his life (atm) so why not entertain himself, just a bit, by flaming people who do stuff for other people.
On topic, I concur with Kristen this show really isn’t that interesting. It might get interesting at some point but damn…They’re sure taking their sweet time getting around to it.
Truth be told; I’m not aware of any other group subbing this show (in English) nor am I inclined to go searching the various tubes of the www hoping someone has released it a few hours/day earlier.
I have no problems with Spanish translations of my own translations.
If anything, it only positively allows for the growth of the anime community. Just knowing that someone is relying on us to spread anime goodness to a completely different community is very gratifying.
However, this may be how I feel. Not sure about anyone else though. 🙂

Spanish/French/Finnish fansubs can do whatever they want with our fansubs. They’re not stealing it unless they take my timings or our encode. Otherwise, it’s completely their own work. It’s the same thing as a Chinese->English translator. They use the CSubs to translate episodes. It’s quicker at times, but it’s not like anyone in the group is doing any less work.
heey guys, thanks for another release, don’t care how fast or slow u guys are once i start watching a release from x group i don’t watch it from any other group. ( unless it’s dropped or just takes weeks like macross frontier from shinsen subs does ) putting that aside, i love all your anime and think world destruction is diff from what i expected but i still enjoy every ep and like the fact that they are trying 2 destroy the world, normally it’s almost always about preventing destruction.

Ha, I don’t think so. I sub (currently) in the Tokusatsu Community. We don’t speedsub we all go for quality. Sometimes our schedules take over our lives and groups stall but doesn’t make them “average”. I haven’t released anything in a while at my group because of MY busy schedule. But when my next release does happen it’ll have the heart and soul of the team that worked on it to give it quality!
I love this show, and you guys do a nice job translating it. You release the best quality of it too, not only in .mkv but in high deff resolutions, cause when i go to download an anime, i look for the BEST quality possible.
Also, if you guys need some space for downloads, i have a server that i could spare bandwidth on, or heres another idea that you may be able to do on new releases,,,,,,upload it to megaupload.com then after it uploads, buy for like starting at $1.99, hotlinking,,,so people just click on the link and it downloads, not going to the site and putting in code, etc.
AND ALSO, NOBODY CAN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SPEED OF TRANSLATING AN ANIME. CAUSE I DONT SEE THEM LEARNING CHINESE/JAPENESE TO WATCH THEM, AND I DONT SEE THEM TRYING TO HELP.

I’m a troll, but even I have fucking limits. Saying Chihiro is as quality as Menclave is a statement that goes beyond trolling and should just be classified as genuine stupidity. Apparently Yuurisan is a shitty quality-less group, but you list Shinsen as a quality subber. Shinsen is jointing with Yuurisan on Gintama, so WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?
