The DVDs for the first season where launched almost at the start of this second one T_T, this is 6-7 months later after the end. So I think we should have a long time….. to wait-kuma (fuck the bear!!) But maybe, just maybe this second season would be released sooner on DVD and BrD, just maybe because this time they are being really nasty with that darn pantsu censoring. So maybeabout 3 months after the ends T_T

If you have problem with low volume and bad sync, I recommend MediaPlayer Classic 6.4.9.1.
I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever, but it’s really up to you if you want to switch to it or not.

I recommend this one now, I used ZoomPlayer b-fore it f”ked up. NO, I’m not gonna tell you what went wrong cuz I don’t even know it meself.
Bad sync means your computer is lagging.
I also haved bad volume, but I didn’t care to much ’cause I use a booster audio system 😛 and I can reach really loud sound so I didn’t mind but indeed the volume was about 0.5x as normal. And the sync was good except for the shots with the censor bear, as always I don’t know why I get bad sync when the censor patchs appear.

Wait a minute… Yes! YES!!! It’s finished. The download is finished! Hope the game works now even though it’s pirated.;p
Usually they do.
The bad sync/lagging is caused by the high framerate of the video in specific parts of the episode, especially the ED; the framerate in these parts is up to 60 frames per second which means that these parts are too “heavy” for most computers with just a single core cpu. With other words: slow and older computers can not playback video with 60 frames per second at a resolution of 1280×720.
The only solution is to re-encode the video with the framerate capped at 23.97, 25 or 29.97 frames per second. Or ofcourse, you can also wait for the xvid version of the 11th episode of Rosario to Vampire Capu2 when it is available.

And if one already is useing MPC and have been for a loooong time? (aye i do update codecs and players) And its not an harddware problem? (considering i can max out crysis warhead and never drop under 100fps =/ )

So the odd thing I noticed is that whenever there’s bear censoring, my media player lags and gets offset, and the timing is off.
Which means that the bear censoring is probably something added on top of the transport stream.
So that probably, if someone figured out how they encoded it in there, it could be de-censored easily.
The reason why it is lagging when the bears come out is – as TC-Man has pointed out above – that the scenes with the bears are played back with a framerate of almost 60 fps instead of the “normal” ~24 fps. I guess they are airing the episodes in 60 fps and the censors add the bears in these 60 fps, while the actual episode is only 24 fps. You need a fast CPU to handle these scenes in real time. (Try using CoreAVC, but you’ll probably need at least a dual core cpu to get it lag free.)
Which makes me think: why don’t you guys make these scenes into 24 fps scenes? I mean no one really cares if the bears are not perfectly fluid, instead the “real” footoge would be fluid. And noone could complain about those lags anymore (leaving out the ED of course, but that one does not really matter for most people I guess…)
