Xvid and .mkv are two hole different things… Xvid is a coded and mkv is a container. To make my point there are enough mkv movies with the codec Xvid.
Kristen must be in heaven watching Hayate… To much lolis for him too handle… xD

Well the encoding is a lot better than the CR rip nicer frame rate, smother playback and the subs look great…

well its your freedom to sub. I will continue to support chihiro but still its waaaaaaay beyond late
to start this now. I will stick with eclipse but I like the oujo-sama part its a good one.

Well it doesn’t matter if its a container or a codec. The truth is that one of these file types can be played with pretty much every modern day media player and even some advanced dvd players including the 40-50 million sold HD game consoles +xbox. While other one is limited to mostly computers and some rare media players.
The point is, you can play xvid/divx .avi files with many players, but the moment you insert them to .mkv or .mp4 container it will loose its ability to be played with plenty of players.
I’m never going to pay full price for a game again, flash cards for the win!
