I’m enjoying this thoroughly… in regards to the comment about manhood and translation… Japanese don’t really use vulgarity in media so I fail to see the complaint being based on anything other than cultural ignorance. I’d be more surprised if they used the vulgar word for penis in an anime (outside something H). Manhood works, suck it up and don’t complain. Fansubbers do their own thing and we benefit from it. If you don’t like it, learn Japanese and watch the raws.
Regarding the whole “manhood” issue, I agree with Kuragi. Which is why sometimes I get annoyed with subbers a little if they get a little generous with the swearing (gg like to do that I think). I saw the original CR translation of that line as well and it was “ask your crotch”. I don’t know why, but “manhood” sounds better to be, and a little funnier. But each to their own I guess.
I’m disappointed you guys didn’t edit back the word “tsundere”. CR put it as aloof character, but that isn’t the complete meaning of the word tsundere. I hope you guys will catch the other dere archetypes and edit them in when needed.
