I’m having sound sync issues I have tried every player I know of (including WMPC) and I have un-installed the CCCP and reinstalled several times and I can not get it to sync. It plays fine at first but slowly gets out of sync. Is there a setting or something I need to do? Other then that it looks increadable and I love the show 🙂 keep up the great work!!!
I was watching and is it me or when I look at the edge of a face i see red on side and blue across the the line. sometimes its not even a person i see it on scenes where it doesnt look right?
DENDE if your settings are too high you will have problems
my guess you have the 1080p and 512mb GCard
there are some scenes where it does slow down like in ep 2
unbelieveable i tried most of my settings to play one ep without getting out of sync but only when the fighting happens
I’m having the same issue as Tomoya-kun with the blue/green borders around object borders, it almost looks like its trying to be in 3D, it’s a little disorienting and makes all the coloration look terrible.
Is there a fix?

On further inspection it seems to only happen on episode 2, might have something to do with the massive file size. I’m on a backup 9600GT 512, if its a bitrate/gpu problem it might be fixed when my 460s get back from repair…
Tomoya-san, I’m having similar sound sync issues where it gradually drifts out of sync. Meing that my computer is a i7 at 3.0 GHz with a 1GB GTX 280 card for video, and 6GB of triple-channel SDRAM system memory, I seriously don’t think it’s a horsepower issue. Also was using K-Lite Mega with 64-bit extensions, went to CCCP latest pack and NO CHANGE> Problem showed in mpc-hc, Zoom Player, VLC – so it’s probrably not a codec issue either. The bordering you described is a overlay issue, where the three color fields are just slightly out of sync, giving that halo effect. That’s be a problem in the raw not being encoded right – that effect is used commercially in some shows (the warp effect is Macross is a example of it being done delivberately). Don’t see that on my system, just the sound sync issue.
So basically what you’re saying is that we’ve downloaded 16GB of poorly coded raws with a sound desync issue. Have you tried coreFLAC or a different audio codec to see if the issue is caused by ffdshows audio decoder? Thora suggested that once, although I had no problem playing their releases perfectly using ffdshow, I was running my 460s at the time.
My one just dosent work i tryed it on vlc player and it just stop working like 1min in and drag me back to the begning of the show but that prob just me oooooo well i try just to download it again.

You guys are screwing something up. All episodes work perfectly for me.
1st step: STOP USING VLC.
2nd step: Check to see if your PC is powerful enough.
3rd step: Install CCCP. I use the ffdshow FLAC renderer.
Again, it works fine. Any problems are on your end.
Got my 460 back, episode 2 is the same. I’m using the latest CCCP with coreAVC as the video renderer, ffdshow FLAC audio. Also using MPC-HC bundled with CCCP.
I’m sure my system is fast enough for this, core i7@4GHz, 12GB DDR3-1600, GTX460 1GB. What codecs are you using DmonHiro, if you don’t mind?

besides every other 1080p thing i can play ( also previous chihiro releases)

but still i have audio problems with this.. if anyone has an idea on how to solve it.. plz share ^^
In the ep.2 the sound problem starts at around 15:20 and continues through the rest of the episode. But if you use the seek function in the player and move to somewhere around 16:00, the problem doesn’t appear. The sound will even resync again if you had it desynced. Weird things happen 🙂
No issues here with MPC-HC build 1.4.2800 using built-in decoders: H264/AVC (DXVA), FLAC / Haali 1.10.348.15.
About the colours: it’s supposed to look like this.
Ok, I solved the problem on my laptop (win7, i7 [email protected], RAM 4GB, ATI HD 5730 1GB)
I have the last CCCP with MPC-HC with this settings: http://img32.imageshack.us/i/cccpst.jpg/
plus I have original FLAC codec from this site: http://flac.sourceforge.net/
with this it now works fine.
Pity, for even the 720p version is too high spec for my Core2 duo(2.13GHz), 1GB-DDR2 RAM, GeForce 8400GS(512MB), Windows XP-SP3.
In fact, any 720p-BD encodes with files greater that 500MB (20 minutes eps) seems to be too high spec for all but 1 year old computers. Well, nothing to do but stick with the Broadcasted version (tough luck for chihiro did only the 480p version).
Have you guys done step 3 in the playback help?
3. If it is a Bluray release and you are having problems, make sure your ffdshow audio settings are configured not to decode FLAC audio. (This means go into the ffdshow audio settings and set FLAC to “Disabled”.)

after installing the original FLAC it seems to have worked
checked my settings according to matti.piano.. i installed the original FLAC codec (again) but problem still exists 🙁 i also downloaded yousei raws.. 1080p and no problems with that one
i’m using wmp12 and it can’t play the videos. what media player do u guys use? it works in vlc but doesn’t connect the op and ed even with the cccp. i have the latest klite mega codec pack etc. so what media pllyer works best?

I downloaded without realizing it was a blue-ray version that my computer can’t be buggered dealing with, oh well, my fault for not paying attention. Guess I’ll have to go elsewhere for this one, BUMMER!!!!! I would have preferred watching Chihiro’s version!
I love Chihiro’s subtitles, but it’s a pity that either video or audio issues are present in almost every recent release. I can play most recent games on high settings and any other group’s 1080p without issue, but even with the 720p releases here I have issues.
hi i was playing my episode 2 and notice the loping back… tried DLing the FLAC files and playing the vids on tigerplayer and it worked… hope u can try this solution

I have an ancient computer, but I have still managed to play all my previous 720p BD anime shows. Mostly from Thora, Coalgirls and polished. But this release does not play well at all, this without the signs. When the signs popup it almost becomes a standstill :-/
Something is not quite correct with the 1080p. Uppgraded my PC like 3 weeks ago and just like with my old PC the video starts to slow down after a few minutes while the audio continues at a normal rate. Have to click in the seek bar to get it in sync again. Im useing CCCP pack with Media Player Classic HC. Also tried K-Lite Mega Pack and even thought it made me feel very sick i tried VLC. I’v gone through the “Playback help” 3 times. I’m now on a Intel i7 950 3.0 Ghz with 12GB ram tripple channel and 2 Asus 570GTX in SLI. I have no troubles with any other 1080p vids. Your K-On Blu-ray 1080p plays fine as well.
Is it only me or the download speed of this torrent is <5kb/s? o.O
About the video and audio going out of synch on MPC-HC:
I had the same problem when I started watching the series a couple of days ago, so I went to the CCCP site and discovered there’s a brand new version of CCCP w/MCP-HC out: released 2011-06-26.
Uninstalled my old version and installed the new version with the default settings, and that seems to have completely fixed the problem: I just finished rewatching the first four episodos of the series, and not a single hiccup. No loss of synch or any other problems at all; playback was flawless. 🙂
Note: I did not disable the FLAC decoding in ffdshow, as suggested above. Worked fine with the default setting.
So it looks like one of the bug fixes in the latest version of CCCP w/MPC-HC solved this problem.
