  ??? Thanks… Where did all the weird new ads come from? There is this strange youtube video just above the comments and I got sent to a wait 10 seconds or click here thingies with a cheezy “Your plugins are outdated. Click here to download the update”. Has Chihiro converted to the dark side of site management?

  Indeed… these adds are ugly and out of place. Are donations no longer enough to keep the site up?

  For those at home that haven’t been playing along the last 2 times we tried to get donations Paypal disabled the associated account and we had to refund what we could of the money. We have yet to find a viable alternative’ so we haven’t gotten any donations we could actually use in quite some time.

  Did you guys (or whomever in charge of such things) break a ToS agreement or something? Seems odd for PayPal to hate you so much.

  We technically link to copyrighted material as do all sub groups. For some reason, unlike the other groups, somebody reports us every time we try to take in donations.

  I guess the Bitcoins thing didn’t work out then?

  It’s not that it didn’t work. People just didn’t use it. I think we did actually get 1 donation. That 1 donation was far from enough though.
