Let’s not hide the truth. I wasn’t happy with the original batch release, when I started watching the show I noticed lots of errors and clearly that release wasn’t up to our standards. So I decided to redo the whole serie from scratch.
What was fixed: grammar errors, typesetting errors, insert song errors, timing errors, style errors, inconsistencies in the dialogues, names and signs, chapters.
The scripts were also modernized to the current fansub standards, out with the old-school stuff.
Now you’ll also get a 1080p release (thanks to JPSDR who encoded those) plus the End Cards as bonus, and also individual creditless OPs & EDs files for both the 720p & 1080p version.
Of course each episode will also have the creditless OP & ED split in, no ordered chapters.
For those who downloaded our previous 720p BD batch, you can apply the v2 patches (for linux, mac & windows). Those downloading today’s release aren’t concerned.

I really don’t want to see anglicized terminology in let’s face it, Japanese anime as in the horribly dumbed down subs coming from several leading U.S distributors and even (unfortunately) within a few of the subs groups we’ve all come to depend on.

Chihiro becomes less and less reliable as sub group. Sad, I really liked the group but new management can do that.
That’s the result of the old management which was kicked out shortly after that, blame that person who owns her own BD group for not caring enough about quality and being stubborn about that.
I decided to fix this show on my own because I couldn’t accept something subpar and never will.
If the current Chihiro’s slower than in the past it’s for a reason, nothing gets released until we are totally satisfied. And if there’s an error we will correct it and won’t sweep it under the rug.
Groups do not survive long if their releases are of poor quality. The longevity of a fan group is reflective of its quality releases. Chihiro exists because of that old management that was kicked out. I will continue to to follow Chihiro though just to see heights new management can take the group.

Lol, you can already see the changes for more than two years now. Locodol was the exception, being the one and only but also the last TV show done by the old management since then.
Just curious, any differences between the TV and BD release (as in the anime itself, not the subs)
Nope, they didn’t add or change anything.
Fuck. OK. I think I’ll download it at the end of the month if I still have cap space. Other than to unify my subs (started with you, then I jumped to FFF’s when you (as in the old management) stopped releasing episodes), it kinda gives me no purpose to download this if there’s no change.
Well, there’s still the superior quality of the blu-rays over TV airings.
