It is, we and Doki are working on it.
Sorry I’ve been absent soon as I joined to help out, Lenmaer. I’ve had some large life changes to suddenly deal with, and it’s been real difficult to keep up with all of my dedications.
But I’m slowly coming back into things, and am hoping to help out in bits where I can.
I’ve been sorely reminded when I wanted to step away for a bit and watch Macross Delta again, but to little avail. The only Blu-Ray subs completed were from gg, and they honestly weren’t nearly as in-depth as the 8 episodes completed by Doki-Chihiro. I’m hoping to come back to help when I have bits of time to revitalize this series. Any plans to continue this? I want to become available to help edit/QC, if it will respark/continue interest in finishing.
Macross is going to be a tricky project to resurrect because Doki has semi-officially done with anime and just scanlates manga these days. Not to say that it can’t be done.
Yeah, I noticed that when I revisited the Doki site recently. I feel like with a few months of dedication, a Chihiro team could pull it off though. It’s one of the most well known franchises in anime, yet it has literally one choice currently for fansubs. (This one choice is filled with too-aggressive cursing, no OP/ED karaoke subs, etc.)
Well, we wanna finish it, but it needs an entire team for that.
Absolutely. Tough times for fansubbing. Well, I’m dedicated to help out with whatever I can in this, at the very least. If you need someone to be editor, QC or maybe even scout for another sub group interested in collaborating, I’ll find time between my projects to help.
We found a way to revive and finish Kyousougiga during my time with Anime-Koi, I’m dedicated to do the same for Delta (which I personally like even more).
